Hey, Deep Blue,

I loved seeing you the other night

I love your relentless nature

Your eternal draw

Your ebb and flow which calls to me

We all love you

Even though it is a fearful, distant love

I keep coming back to see you

Resplendent in the evening sun

Noiseless with sound

Gently coming in towards us

I could stay here all night

But I can't, you're too strong,

I'm happy you're here

It's a strange fascination

As if I could drink you in

Live in that moment forever

Remain safe from the incoming tide

As the gentle lapping of waves fills my head

So really, Deep Blue, I owe you

For the peace you bestow

And the calming thoughts you bring up

A night of joy is joy nonetheless.
