QUICK A/N - PLEASE READ -

Okay, so my writing has been shit recently, and it's probably because highschool started again and I'm trying to ward off my returning depression and  stuffs going on with my friends. Life's great.

So I'm gonna try a lot harder, and try to post a bit more. Also, there is going to be an Act for each year at Hogwarts, and since they're only 11 in this one, there's not tons of drama and there's no love. This will also probably be the shortest and shittiest book. Each one is gonna have a different conflict/theme in Lily's life, and I think the third book is where I'll introduce love interests, since everyone had a glow up in the third movie lol.

thanks, here's the story:

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Liliana hadn't been talking to many people. She mostly preferred taking some food and eating in the bathrooms (and having conversations with Moaning Myrtle- who wouldn't shut up about how similar they are, both hopeless...). Lily also found herself sticking her nose in a book every time someone she knew would approach, trying to avoid conversation. Currently, she was in the courtyard, sitting under a tree and reading a book about Transfiguration, which she found fascinating.

She could faintly hear the whispers of her ex-best friend, Pansy, who was scolding Draco for refusing to talk to Lily.

"I really think we should just talk to her, Draco. I miss having her around!" Pansy quietly complained.

"Well I don't want t-"

"Oi! Lily!" Pansy called for the first time in a couple weeks.

Something darkened in Lily's mind, and she got a rush of anxiety.

Lily stood up and sarcastically rolled her eyes, folding the corner of the old book page to mark her place. She tucked the thick novel under her arm, then fake-confidently strutted over to the Slytherins.

Pansy gave her a small smile, and Draco scoffed.

"We wanted to talk to you, Lily. About Potions class the other day. We never really gave you the chance to explain yourself. And I'm sorry." Pansy admitted. She flinched as if she wanted to go hug her friend, but was too scared. She scratched the back of her hand, avoiding eye contact with Lily. Draco seemed to have suddenly found the fabric of his cloak very interesting.

"I missed you, Pans." Lily whispered, to the point where it was almost inaudible, but was only slightly heard. She made a point in her head to say nothing to Draco, who she was still angry at. Not that she wasn't also hurt by Pansy ignoring her.

"Draco has something to say too." Pansy spoke, then elbowed Draco, who jumped, having had zoned out of the conversation.

"Oh- yeah. Sorry." He said sarcastically, with almost no feeling at all. Lily clenched her jaw, suddenly standing a little higher.

"Sorry Draco, I'm on a diet." She said, sticking her nose up slightly. Draco furrowed his eyebrows and scrunched up his nose in confusion. "I don't eat lies anymore." Lily said confidently, then walked past him, brushing his shoulder on the way. She felt a hand grab her lower arm.

"Wait, Lily. I made a mistake, you have to forgive me." Draco called.

"I forgive Pansy, for being conflicted and not knowing which side to take. However, I do not have to forgive you." Lily replied, furrowing her eyebrows and spoke in a strong voice, a voice that showed she was standing up for herself.

"And why would you forgive Pansy, but not me?" Draco asked, clearly offended. He let go of Lily's wrist area, and crossed his arms.

"Because Pansy didn't spit in my face in the halls, Pansy didn't say she was using me to get secrets about Harry, Pansy didn't trip me in the halls, Pansy didn't laugh at me and try and screw up my potions, Pansy didn't insult me for having no parents, and Pansy didn't call me a-a m- well, the m word!" Lily argued, and Draco looked rather taken back. He opened his mouth like he wanted to say something, wanted to defend himself against these accusations- but they were true. Lily muttered a quick 'exactly,' before sending Pansy a small smile, a smile showing just how much she'd missed her, and then continued her walk back to the castle.

Once news went around that Draco Malfoy had apologized and forgiven Lily Star, the whole drama died down. She walked over to Hermione, who sat staring up at the clouds, thinking deeply. She took a seat.

"You, Harry, and Ron seem even more busy lately. What's going on with that?" She asked.

"It's all about this mystery we're trying to solve... we're getting close to an answer." She replied. "Me and ron want to tell you, but it just seems Harry doesn't want to involve you, not because she doesn't trust you, but I think he feels bad enough, as if he's dragging me and Ron into his problems."

"It's okay, Hermione. Did you hear, Lucius Malfoy is coming to the next quidditch game? I only met him once, but I've heard even some Slytherins are scared of him."

"I've heard many assumptions about him, but i'd love to meet him in person and see where Draco gets his terrible attitude and annoying face from." she replied.
