Jungkook sighed. Although he had messaged and engaged with tons of guys from TikTok in his DMs, this time seemed a little different. He had spent a great deal of time watching Taehyung's TikToks, and Jungkook realized how genuine this guy seemed to be. He didn't show off his arm veins, or do that stupid, classic eboy eye roll thing. Jungkook despised boys like that, for after the edgy performance they'd give, it turns out that boys like them usually didn't have much of a personality. Taehyung actually seemed like quite the sweetheart. Jungkook bit his nails. He hoped Taehyung was truly a sweetheart.

Jungkook anxiously stared at his screen. Why was he so nervous? This was his go-to line, and suddenly he felt weird about it? Were the emojis he chose stupid? Should he send a meme? Taehyung likes memes, he should probably send a meme..

kimtaehyung: wow! Hi JK! You're super big on here, how come you're texting me 😅

Jungkook gasped, scrambling to respond.

jkjeonn: uhh maybe cuz you're like the cutest boy on here silly 😘

kimtaehyung: psshhh no I'm not. Also I love your vids, JK! You've actually inspired me to do some similar ones on my page!

I knew it. Jungkook smirked.

Jungkook squealed, clutching his phone. Why was he so excited to get to know this boy?

jkjeonn: omfg please tell me you live in Korea

kimtaehyung: yup! I live in Seoul.

jkjeonn: I live in Busan! We're not too far away hehe 😏

Jungkook's smile dropped. What the hell? Hadn't he been flirting with Jungkook the whole time? That doesn't make sense. Maybe he just isn't out yet.

jkjeonn: oh ok! Well I still think we should meet up ya know ;)

kimtaehyung: definitely! You free this weekend? I'll take a train to see you.

jkjeonn: yeah I am! How bout you give me your phone number so we can FaceTime or call?

kimtaehyung: yeah sure no problem! 🥰

Jungkook's frown faded. He'll meet this adorable "straight" boy and work his charm. According to his many past hook-ups, Jungkook is pretty hard to resist, so we'll see how this goes. And if Taehyung really is straight, Jungkook will simply have to move on. Only... he doesn't want to quite yet.
