Josie
I woke up to find Payton gone and alone in my bed. I sat there and wondered if that was it. Did he get what he wanted, and it was over? I sighed.
I leaned over and grabbed a shirt off the floor and pulled it on. I got up as the door opened. I watched as Payton walk inside, carrying a cardboard container with two coffees. He closed the door and held up a key to me.
"I borrowed your key," Payton said as he set it and the coffees down. I watched as he pulled the coffees from it and walked over to the bed. He handed me a coffee, and I took it.
I stood there as he drank his coffee.
"Last night was," I said.
"Amazing," Payton interrupted me.
"So, you don't regret it?" I asked Payton, and he reached for me. I walked over as he took my hand, and I sat down on the bed next to him.
"No, I know you worry, and believe me, I don't regret it or think it was a mistake. I'm prepared to have sex with you yet, but things happen, and it's something we can share. I hope it's not a one-time thing," Payton said as I smiled.
"God, I hope not," I giggled as he looked at me, smiling.
"Well, Josie, I'm surprised. You are an unholy girl," Payton said as I grinned. I shrugged as Payton took our coffees out of our hands and set them on the nightstand. Then he pulled me over to him, moving me underneath him. "Now, let's continue from last night."
We removed our clothes, and Payton put on protection, entering me. This time didn't hurt like the first time. Payton made love to me as our bodies and lips connected.
We finished as I laid on my side. Payton laid behind me as he cuddled me.
"You know what this means, don't you?" Payton asked me.
"What?" I asked Payton.
"You belong to me, always and forever," Payton said as I turned to face him.
"And what if I don't want to belong to you?" I asked as he pulled me close.
"Too bad, because I love you, Josie," Payton said as he pressed his lips to mine. I reached up, placing my hand on the back of his head as I kissed him back.
I don't regret taking the next step with Payton. I'm happy that I did.

I was studying when my phone vibrated. I picked it up to see a message from Nora.
I'm bored. - Nora
Then read a book. - Me
I'm not that bored. What are you? Fifty? - Nora
I rolled my eyes.
What are you? Ten? - Me
So, I have news. - Nora
What's the news? - Me
I found out Mason is attending school with me next year. - Nora
I furrowed my brows as I grabbed a cracker and ate it.
Isn't that the guy you were dating? - Me
Well, yeah. I didn't think I would see Mason again. - Nora.
Well, maybe you will work it out with Mason. I have to get back to studying. - Me
I clicked off the message and set my phone down. I got some more texts from Nora but didn't respond. I refuse to get in the middle of a relationship with two people. I didn't expect to connect with this girl either.
I know if the person hurts Nora, then I will destroy that person. I went back to studying.

I spent time with Hayden, talking about everything and anything. He laughed as I told him things about my family. The best part is we like food since we were always eating.
We went on a date. I had to admit my Dad was right, although I will never admit it to him.
I wanted to introduce Hayden to my parents and wondered how it would go with them. I drove to meet my parents, and we sat in a restaurant at a table and waited. Ten minutes later, my parents entered the restaurant, and I stood to greet them. I introduced Hayden to my folks, and they shook his hand, then sat down and talked.
It didn't go as bad as I thought it would. It was the start of a beautiful friendship between my parents and Hayden. At least, they don't hate him, that's a plus.

I took a drive to clear my head and pulled up in front of a house. I took a deep breath and got out of the car, walking up to the front door. I knocked, and Mr. Gray answered it.
"Shaun?" Mr. Gray said, surprised.
"Hi, Mr. Gray," I said as he smiled and welcomed me into the house. I haven't seen my first-grade teacher in years. He didn't change much and was as kind as I remembered him.
I sat there and talked to him as we caught up. I told Mr. Gray everything that happened, and he listened. He was one of the few people that knew about my home life. Most people didn't care, but he did. Maybe he could help me with my issue.
It was a step.

Selena and I sat in an ice cream parlor, eating ice cream, then ended in an ice cream fight with each other. We ended up wearing more than we ate. I pulled her into an ice cream kiss.
The owners kicked us out of the ice cream parlor, and we went back to the house to shower. After we washed up, we dressed and sat on the couch to watch movies. My life was so different from last year, and I didn't know if I would ever be happy.
I looked at Selena and smiled as she looked at me. She smiled back as I kissed her. We have to go through hell to come out of it better. I suffered my hell as others suffered theirs, but it's what makes us strong.
The first year of college is almost over, and we would return home to craziness. I wasn't too worried about it, although next year might be a different ballgame.
