The sunlight peaked through the large windows and Bucky seated on the bed putting on his heavy boots and you placed your lips on his bare back still covered with a thin line of sweat, the result of your previous lovemaking. He smiled as you bit his skin, clearly hoping for more.

"I have to leave for a patrol with Steve. It won't take long, I'll be back before the sun is down, my love." he kissed your lips before reaching for his vest on the chair.

"Peggy and I are going to the village. We need to buy a few supplies." James nodded, grabbing his boots from the floor.

"I'll ask Clint and Sam to scort you and Peggy." he stated and you frowned.

"There's no need, James. It wouldn't take long, probably only a couple of hours."

"There's no discussion about this, (Y/N). I'll protect the most important thing in my life with all I have. And that's you, my queen." he placed his lips on your forehead but you grabbed his leather vest demanding a kiss on your lips on his instead. His hands rested on your back, you were still completely naked and his touch was like fire on your skin.

"You look different." Bucky's rusky voice reached your ears and you looked at him grinning.

"Different? How?" you asked.

"More confident and... lustful I would say." he kissed your neck and you moaned in response, definitely more sensitive too. "And even more beautiful of course." his beard tickled your skin as his calloused hands cupped your breasts and all you wanted was to James take you right there again.

"Do you really have to go?" his laugh filled the room and you ran your fingers through his hair.

"Unfortunately yes but we'll continue this later, my queen. I promise you." his lips met yours again before he left the chamber.

Following James orders, Sam and Clint accompanied you and Peggy to the village. When you both found the small cabin in the woods, you stopped and left your horses.

"You and Clint can wait here. We won't take long." you told Sam.

"Our orders are to never leave your side, your majesty." Clint stated.

"There's nothing to worry about. We'll be right back." Peggy spoke and they nodded in agreement.

You and Peggy entered the cabin and were greeted by a woman with red hair and lots of rings oh her long fingers. She bowed towards you with a kind smile on her face.

"What an honor, your majesty." she said and you gestured to her stood up.

"How do you know who I am?" you asked, removing your hoodie.

"I know many things, my queen. I'm Wanda. How can I help you today?" she asked.

"Peggy told me that you could help us to be sure about something." you whispered to her. Peggy stood by your side.

"We think that (Y/N) is carrying a child." Peggy explained and Wanda walked towards you.

"May I?" she approached you, asking to touch your belly. You look at Peggy and she nodded.

"Of course." Wanda touched you and suddenly a red light surrounded her fingers and you just stared at her, surprised.

"It's true, my queen. I can feel another heartbeat right here." she smiled and your eyes filled with tears.

"How do you know that? Are you really a witch?" you asked her. Wanda shook her head, smiling again.

"It's a gift. All I can say is that I'm not from this time, your majesty. Your child is healthy, there's nothing to worry about. I'll give you something for the morning sickness and nausea." she walked to a cabinet and grabbed a few herbs bags.

"Thank you, Wanda."

On the way back to the castle, all you could think about was to tell James the news.
