When the preparation for your departure started you couldn't contain your nervousness and sadness. You didn't want to leave Bucky but deeply in your heart you knew it was the best way to protect your child.

"I'm really sorry, Peggy. I feel like I ruined your honeymoon with Steve." you said as Peggy helped you to get ready.

"Nonsense my queen. You know I'll always be by your side when you need me. You're like a sister to me, (Y/N)." She smiled and looked at you through the mirror as she finished to comb your hair.

When everything you would possibly need were being carried by the guards to the carriage, you walked the main hall with Peggy by your side as your husband and king waited outside. Steve and Sam were there too, making sure the carriage was safe for both of you.

"You know I still don't agree with your decision but I understand." you stated as Bucky helped you to settle inside the carriage. Steve did the same for Peggy.

"I know, my love. But it's the only way to protect you and our little princess. Please don't be mad at me." he kissed you knuckles trying to charm his out out of the situation.

"Just promise you'll be safe, James. I have this feeling that something terrible will happen. Just the thought of losing you make me sick." you confessed.

"Nothing will happen, (Y/N). When we solve this problem with Hydra you'll be back. I promise you."

"Everything is ready, your majesty." Sam said and Bucky closed the distance between the two of you, pressing his lips against yours.

"I love you, my queen. Take care of yourself and our little one." Bucky kissed you one more time before placing a kiss on your belly. You couldn't stop the tears from falling down your cheeks.

"Be careful, James. Don't do anything reckless, you have a family now. We love you very much." you gave him a sad smile before he closed the carriage's door and ordering the guards to get the horses ready. You looked through the window as you saw the castle and the love of your life staying behind as a blurry painting.

Bucky was smart. He ordered two carriages to leave on the same time just in case Hydra's guards were hiding in the forest beside the road. When you and Peggy finally arrived at your kingdom the sunrise was peeking through the window of the carriage. You both couldn't be able to sleep so you felt relieved when you saw your parents waiting for you.

"My lovely girls! What a wonderful surprise." your mother said approaching you for a hug.

"I missed you so much." you said.

"Let me look at you, my dear. You look beautiful. How's my grandchild?" your father asked you.

"We're alright, just a little bit tired from the journey." you looked at Peggy.

"Let's get inside. We made tea and your favorite cake. You need to eat more." you smiled as you followed your parents inside the castle.

"We received a letter from James. Your father sent our best men to help fight Hydra." your mother said and you smiled as you walked through the garden. The violets were always your favorites.

"Thank you, mother. I hope this will end soon. I can't help but to worry about James."

"I know but you're safe now. You and James are meant for each other, everything will be just fine. You'll see my dear." as your mother's words filled the air your heart was still heavy with the pain and worry for what may happen to your family.
