IMPORTANT-- Hello i'm writing this at school so i'm updating when I can
Cracks and Booms can be heard from far behind as a wave of people rush to the center of town. People call for there loved ones as the force of the massive horde pushes to the extraction site. "We have incoming!" I here a shout to my left then the whole world goes dark as I feel myself falling...Falling.....
"Wake up!" Rainy shouts shaking me awake
"What is it Rainy?" I snort looking at her with a angry expression
"Your going to miss the festival tonight if you sit around all day!" She giggles as she gets up and walks out of my room
I shake my head slowly 'Why am I still her friend' I think to myself with a smirk on my face before standing up and walking over to my dresser. I take a glance at my clock and it reads 10:30 AM
"I really did sleep in..." I Grabbed my cloths and change before walking out into the Living Room of Rainy's house. I Look to see Rainy left for the annual festival already and I sigh grabbing the toast she made me and heading out of the house. As soon as I start walking I Remember that I don't have a gift or a nice suit to wear to show Rainy.
"Well I guess I should go there before the festival starts" I sigh walking a little faster than normal heading towards the Cloths store knowing the will have what I seek.
-TIME SKIP 3 hours-
Crowds of people surround me as I walk through the festival looking for Rainy and her friends. "Where could she be...?" I turn in a wide circle not seeing her but what I do see is 3 guys walking toward me and the one in the front is a guy named Maverick. He is basically the guy who makes people mad or upset for his enjoyment.
"Hey guys look what washed up from the lake" Maverick laughed pointing at me with hatred in his eyes and voice.
"That's funny the last time I saw you, you were crawling out of a lake drenched" I crack my knuckles as I stand in front of him with a smirk.
"Far point" Maverick steps closer to me so that were almost touching.
"Man you really wanna do this he-" I get cut off as a punch from the side hits my cheek and sends me to the ground. Blood drips from my nose as I stand up seeing all of them coming towards me.
"Look at him...Defeated and worthless just like your stupid friend" Maverick turns around and walks away with his friends in tow.
"Jax!" Rainy shouted running up to help me off the ground
"Thanks" I get up looking at her but she is trying to hold back from laughing.
"Sorry its just your hair its sticking up" Rainy laughs a bit
"Oh you gonna get it now!" I laugh as I chase her through crowds of people and i start to feel at ease.
-TIME SKIP Morning-
I wake up feeling exhausted as I get out of bed to change and I see its 2:00 PM.
"Damn I slept through my alarm" I hurry walking out into the living room seeing the door is wide open and Rainy is no where to be seen.
