I push on the brake making the vehicle lurch forward instantly waking up everyone. I watch as from the side of us ten people walk out of the bushes sporting AR's and very long blades. Behind them is two more people dragging four other people chained together and I notice one of them as Maverick and I instantly become confused as he is one of the chained people.
"Get out of the cars!" A Man aims his gun at the first car and the rest of his people aim there guns at the cars most of them wearing masks or other things to cover there faces.
I get out followed by Rainy and One and lastly Aiello. I look to my right as Havana and Two others step out of the car and lastly the front group consists of four more people.
"Get on your knees now!" We all hesitate and before we could agree to get down the man shoots killing one of the people from the first car and instantly we all listen.
"Now what is going to happen is all your stuff belongs to us and were going to take it from you" He gestures for his people to take our stuff and he then walks down the line slowly
"So who here is your leader?" He looks around at the group of us and smiles a bit his eyes showing nothing but coldness
"Me" A man next to Havana shouts confidently, I remember One telling me his name was George.
The leader walks up to George and looks him up and down and he gets close to him
"Liar" He stabs George in the throat with a long blade that looks to be a bowie knife
We all look shocked as George falls to the ground limply and most shocked of all is Aiello who almost looks like he will cry.
"Now cut the bullshit and tell me who really is your leader or someone will end up like your two friends here" He laughs a bit and all of his people start to crack up
"It is me god damnit!" Havana looks at him with a anger expression
"Now were getting somewhere" He walks up to her and whispers to her something
She stands up and walks over to us with a blank face and nods to Aiello and then she turns around and starts heading back towards the others but she stops and turns to the Man.
"What do you wan-" He doesn't even finish before Havana stabs him with a knife and takes his gun shooting two more people. Aiello pulls out his knife and throws it at a guard taking them down.
Before long we all stand over the body's of the dead enemies and look at each other with a nod.
"Havana what about him?" one of the others points towards a body still moving and that person is Maverick.
I gasp in shock at how I had forgot him and I felt the urge to run at him and beat him till he died but I knew that wouldn't help.
"We should kill him" One and Rainy both say and Aiello nods with them
I stay quiet but I agree with them silently just for what he did before and after this apocalpyse.
"I have a great idea" Havana nods slowly and everyone looks confused as she grabs him throwing him in the back of the one truck and we all just shrug and load up and move on.
-----Somewhere nearby-----
"Yes sir they killed them" A man watches from a distance as the trucks drive away
"We will kill them just you wait" The voice speaks back sounding rather pissed
(Next chapter guys will take place a month later into the story so that way I can explain where they are going to be better instead of them just driving for chapters apon chapters)
