The creature got up, and smirked evilly at them. Before it could rampage at them in haste, Kiara's instincts made her kick it right at the abdomen, hard enough to knock it down for just a while. Enough time for them to escape. Kiara and Rai ran for it wasting no time further. They ran as quickly as possible. They sped through the street untill they assumed they were safe, but for now.
"What the heck was that? I'm pretty sure it wasn't a human, was it though?" Kiara asked, out of breathe and gasping for air.
Rai himself seemed to be in tremendous shock. He didn't say a word- normally, he didn't either. For the time being, they managed to hide in an old, isolated shop where that creature wasn't likely to find them. Kiara attempted to call the police but unfortunately, her phone's battery was dead.
"What do we do now? Sh*t, I can't even call anyone for help. You know what? I have to do something myself!" Kiara declared proudly.
Kiara was either incredibly courageous, or extremely stupid. Though she was more of a reckless person than a mature one.
Being rebellious against Kiara's immature plan, Rai finally spoke in order to stop her from getting into trouble.
"You stay here. I will deal with this as it might be too dangerous for you." Rai finally announced in a calm, soft tone.
"Are you immune to danger or something? You think you're some kind of hero? Come on, idiot, two is better than one. I'll go with you too..." Kiara roared angrily.
Kiara was the type of person who always tried to act strong in front of everyone even though she was not very strong willed in truth. This was one of the worst flaws she ever had.
They walked a little forward in secrecy to see the creature wandering around freely the isolated street. Kiara was preparing herself to hit that creature with a steel rod she found lying around. This was a part of her very unstable plan.
Just as she tried to pick the rod up, the sound reached the creature, and they noticed them right away.
The creature's eyes were completely black, its hair was all dirty and tangled. Suddenly it tried to attack Kiara with its sharp claws when Kiara stabbed it with the rod in no time. It groaned in pain as the blood was coming oozing of its stomach nonstop. Kiara was quite satisfied with her skills, though she still had a very long way to go. It didn't take long for them to realise the creature was not dead yet. It seemed to be regenerating. It tried to attack her again, when it stopped promptly. Freezing right at the spot.
"Hey, creepy dude! Why aren't you moving? Aren't you going to kill me, big guy?" Kiara mocked it with a smirk.
Kiara turned around to see Rai, who had his hand raised and pointing at the angered creature. Rai's scarlet eyes were now glowing like rubies under the moonlight.
"You do not deserve to come near her. What you deserve...is to die immediately." Rai growled in a low, cild voice.
Then, he moved his fingers and the creature started screaming without any reason. It was almost as if it was being tortured by an invisible matter. Kiara moved away from it worriedly. The creature continued to scream at the tip of its lungs till it was burned down to ashes.
"We have to leave." Rai stated
Rai left Kiara in complete shock. She couldn't believe her eyes anymore.
"WHAT EXACTLY WAS THAT?!?! Who the hell are you? What kind of witchcraft was that? Are you some kind of sorcerer?" Kiara asked, impatiently.
Rai didn't reply to her this time. He just stared at the spot where he killed the creature, as if pitying it.
"What is happening? This is so weird! What should I do to get the answers?" Kiara thought to herself.
"You must be very confused. I will tell you everything." Raizel said.
"Yes please! I can't wait to listen to your fairy tail after I saw some sorcerer kill some shitty gorilla with claws!" Kiara said,
"You are the Xiarine. One of the most powerful Xavians alive."
"Um, say what now?! What are you even talking about?"
