Chapter 16: Where's my epic background music?!

M-21's only companion had died. He only got to know about that after Frankenstein told him. He was truly upset. He asked Frankenstein to take him in for a while. He agreed. Frankenstein, Rai and Kiara took the kids to the hospital, with M-21. The three waited in the lobby. Frankenstein told Kiara about how they killed Jake the him men with Rai's help. Kiara explained her situation to them as well. Rai wasn't really surprised. He knew Kiara was going to find her powers someday or the other. The kids soon woke up, and the three quickly went to visit them.

"Are you guys ok?" Kiara asked the three after hugging them.

"Of course, we're fine. But Shinwoo has a few fractured bones." Yuna commented.

"Oh it's fine. At least I didn't die." Shinwoo said, scratching his head.

"Hey Rai, are you not hurt?" Ikhan asked.

"He did, but not as much as you guys." Kiara interrupted.

"By the way, Koko , how did you get to know that we were locked in a warehouse? And why are you hurt?" Shinwoo inquired.

He remembered that he had seen Kiara while he was still partially unconscious.

"Uh, I-Rai had texted me about being attacked and he had the location option open, so I knew where you guys were." Kiara said, avoiding the other question.

"Koko, how did you get hurt?" Yuna asked, worried.

"I may have tried tackle with those thugs hehe....." Kiara hesitated.

Shinwoo hit her on the head with a 'you shouldn't have, idiot' expression.

"I don't really remember much, only that we were kidnapped." Yuna stated.

Rai had wiped off their memories of the incident with his powers. M-21 was confused. He wanted to know how Kiara was able to kill Marie, and how Rai managed to kill everyone so easily. But he didn't ask anything.

"Sir, who is that man behind you?" Ikhan asked Frankenstein.

M-21 flinched.

"They really don't remember me? Is that guy's power this strong?"

"He works for me." Frankenstein replied.

Frankenstein excused himself and left the room with M-21.

"Shinwoo my darling~" Izzy said as she burst into the room.

"Here comes another trouble...." Ikhan muttered.

"Shinwoo are you okay? You didn't get too hurt right? Look, I brought chicken for you!"

Shinwoo was getting annoyed. He gestured Kiara to help him. Kiara understood his problem and pulled Izzy away from him.

"Hey you idiot! Don't touch me!" Izzy whined.

"Can you not disturb us all the time?" Kiara shouted at Izzy.

"Hmph! Whatever~I'll be back my darling!" Izzy said, flipping her hair.

Izzy suddenly halted. Her eyes met Rai's. /////

"W-who is this handsome man? And why is he looking so bright?" Izzy stammered as she went towards him.

"Well then Shinwoo, I guess you're now out of Izzy's league." Kiara whispered to Shinwoo, who was relieved.

"Excuse me Mr. Handsome, are you single? If not, wanna go on a date?" Izzy said as she moved around Rai.

"???"

"Kiara, you should help Rai too. Rai looks lost and confused." Ikhan commented.

"Why~I'm enjoying this!" Kiara said as she sipped some tea she somehow got.
