Chapter 8: Situations

The classes were going on. Shinwoo was sleeping in class while the teacher was present. Kiara was trying to wake him up.

"Hey koala, wake up before the teacher catches you. You've been sleeping for so long." Kiara whispered.

But Shinwoo was snoring loudly.

"Shinwoo! How dare you sleep in my class again!" The teacher finally shouted.

Kiara kicked Shinwoo's leg hard, waking him up.

"Oh, sorry Sir! I don't know when I dozed off!" Shinwo said, giggling.

"What am I going to do with you?" The teacher said, sighing.

The teacher was scolding Shinwoo when the bell rang. It was the end of school.

"Yes finally! I'm going to sleep straight away after I go home." Shinwoo said, letting out a big yawn.

"You sleep all the time, you irresponsible idiot." Ikhan told Shinwoo.

Shinwoo, Kiara, Ikhan, and Rai were leaving school when a man came up to them.

"Rai, and Kiara, the chairman is calling the two of you." He said.
"What is it again?!" Kiara said, face palming.

"Did you get into any kind of trouble again recently?" Shinwoo asked.

"Uh, no. Not trouble, really."

"We'll be at the Internet café, meet us there."

"I'll come as fast as possible."

Kiara and Rai were going to the chairman's office.

"Why did he call the two of us? Did he somehow get to know about what happened yesterday?" Kiara thought to herself.

Kiara knocked at the door.

"May we come in?" Kiara said.

"Hello Kiara!How are you today?" The chairman said.

"I was great, until you called me with Rai and ruined my after school activity."

"💢You still haven't stopped being straight forwarded" He said.

"Master, please sit here." He said, gesturing at the sofa.

"Master?!?!?! Him!?!?What!?" Kiara said, confused.

"Yes, he's my master." He said.

"So you know that he is the Noblesse ?"

"Of course. I met him more than a thousand years ago. I've been living with my master for a long time."

Kiara looked at Rai, who nodded.

"Please sit. I'd like to talk about what happened last night." The chairman said.

"I knew it!" Kiara thought to herself.

"We saw something very queer." Rai interrupted.

"It had murdered a man before we saw it." Kiara continued......

She told the chairman everything.

"Oh no. So this is what happened. Are you alright, Kiara?" The chairman said.

"Yeah, I'm fine. If it weren't for Rai I probably would have been the dinner of a creepy monster." Kiara answered.

"But what is seriously going on?Rai told me that I'm a Xia-something, and that I have powers? What is going on?"

"You are the Xiarine. And yes,you have many fantastic abilities." The chairman said.

"You can do many things that you're not aware of." Rai told Kiara, reassuring her.

"Pfft whatever." Kiara rolled her eyes.

"I think it's a little dangerous for you to live alone now." The chairman said.

"Of course, Frankenstein...NOT!" Kiara said, dramatically.

"I am a great fighter and I know how to take care of myself." Kiara said sarcastically.
(I assure you she's a wimp)

"💢I told you not to call me by my name, Kiara." Frankenstein said.

"Oh come on, dude, you're my friend, right?" Kiara whined. "I'll get going now, we'll discuss this later." Kiara said running to the door.

"Hey Franky, now that Rai's your master,he'll will stay with you, right?"

The two nodded.

"Oh thanks goodness!" Kiara said, relieved. "Yes~!!!"

"Oh, that girl. She's almost as old as I am yet she's so childish!" Frankenstein said, sighing.

Rai nodded.

She may be childish but she was very reliable.
