Chapter 44: Now would be a good time to be anyone but me

Everyone returned back after they managed to kill the traitors. They couldn't obliterate all of them since a few of them ran away beforehand. Everyone was injured quite a bit. Kiara had fallen asleep before they could even reach the mansion. Kieran had to carry her on his back as they all flew to the mansion. Rai and every was very delighted that Kiara had retrieved her memory.

The family leaders went to the mansion and fixed themselves since everyone was a mess after the war. Everyone else was going to stay at Rai's old mansion. Lascrea had stayed back with them for Kiara. Lascrea and Aurora helped Kiara with the dressing of her wounds. Meanwhile, M-21, Takio, Tao, and Mia were getting scolded by Frankenstein for coming all the way to Lukedonia without his permission.

"How did you guys even think about coming here without telling either of us? You guys could've gotten yourselves killed!" Frankenstein yelled.

"Boss it's not our fault. Kiara was the one who came up with the idea. And besides, we brought ramen for Sir Raizel." Tao announced.

Mia nodded in agreement with Tao. M-21 and Takio were just sighing. The word 'ramen' immediately made Rai excited internally. He stopped drinking his tea and went to Frankenstein.

"Frankenstein, please let them go for now. You are tired yourself." Rai suggested."

"Alright master. I'll let them go only because you said so."

"Thanks you, Sir Raizel. We'll give you some extra ramen packets too." Tao beamed.

Rai smiled at the four and then went back to the couch to sip some tea. Suddenly, Kieran sat beside Rai worryingly.

"I can't explain how happy I am that piggy's back." Kieran stated as he smiled widely.

Rai looked at Kieran with a smile.

"She has been reminded of her Xiarine powers as well. At least she'll be able to fight properly now." Kieran added.

"Do not worry, Kieran. She was always very strong. She will be fine."

"What are you two talking about?" Lascrea intervened as she sat opposite to the two men.

"Lascrea is Kiara better now? Did she wake up yet?" Kieran asked impatiently.

"She's alright. But it'll take some time for her to wake up " Lascrea replied.

"Oh thank you so much!" Kieran beamed as he grabbed Lascrea's hands.

Kieran immediately let go of her hands after he realised what he was doing. They both blushed as they looked away from each other.

"Yo everyone...." Kiara greeted as she softly stepped inside the room.

Kieran ran towards Kiara angrily and hit her on the head.

"Ouch that hurt so bad!" Kiara whined.

"HOW COULD COME HERE WITHOUT TELLING US?! YOU EVEN GOT YOURSELF INTO A FIGHT!" Kieran yelled.

"Ugh just stop already. I just intended to only bring Rai and ramen." Kiara smiled.

"That is nothing but an excuse." Kieran hissed.

"Lord Kieran, please let me talk to her. You are injured as well so please rest." Frankenstein uttered as he stood in front of Kiara.

Kiara gulped nervously. Aurora stood beside Kiara and both of them were prepared for the scolding.

"Firstly, Kiara, WHO TOLD YOU TO PUT IN A FIGHT WITH A TRAITOR BY YOURSELF?! And secondly, WHY DIDN'T AURORA STOP ALL OF YOU FROM COMING HERE?!" Frankenstein yelled.
