About a three weeks passed just like that. Everyone had forgotten about the incident with Ryder and Jakoda by then. Muzaka returned back to him kingdom for the time being. Everything was surprisingly calm.

After a tiring day at school, Rai, Kiara, Seira and Regis were sauntering back home in the evening. Rai was fully exhausted because not even a single equation got inside his head during maths class. It was almost like it was an alien language to him. It was the same with Kiara-but with multiple different subjects. Despite being in the human world for about more than ten years, she was incredibly weak at literature, mathematics and history. Sierra and Regis on the other hand were practically geniuses on every subject.

"I'm jealous. It's like you guys were made for like all the classes. Especially maths." Kiara whined.

"It's nothing like that. Maths is really easy." Regis scoffed, his head held up high with pride.

"I envy you and Seira. You guys are perfect in every way. Looks, brain, confidence, charisma, strength, you have everything." Kiara pouted, running her fingers through her hair, which was extra greasy that day, pestering her immensely.

Rai goggled at Kiara in disbelief. He felt like she was just bluffing a bunch of lies. He was in complete disagreement with her.

"I'm not sure if you're joking, but you're absolutely stunning yourself. And aren't you the Xiarine?" Seira and Regis pointed out.

"I didn't say I was ugly or weak. I am fully aware of my looks and my strength. I'm the most powerful and beautiful girl to exist mwahaha!" Kiara smirked evilly.

Rai, Regis and Seira winced at Kiara in disgust of her annoying behaviour, pitying her hopelessness. They all shook their heads, sighing loudly.

"Maybe I over exaggerated a little. But having only looks and strength is not okay. I feel really dumb sometimes. When I stand beside Raizel, it becomes worse." Kiara screamed internally, squinting at Rai.

"I myself, am not very good equations." Rai finally spoke quietly.

"But people still treat you as an intellectual. I'm jealous of that."

"Is that wrong?"

Rai stared at Kiara with his puppy eyes, sending shivers down her spine.

"N-no..it isn't... it's just that every respects you so much as the Noblesse. For once, I'd like to experience that." Kiara clicked her tongue.

"You will soon, Kiara. You are an incredibly worthy Xavian. So please do not look down on yourself." Rai preached, showing off his boldness.

"See? That's intellectual Raizel for you. All hAiL tHe aNciENT lOrD RaIzEL." Kiara whispered to Seira and Regis mischievously, chuckling like a maniac.

Kiara mocking Rai made Seira and Regis giggle as they couldn't contain the laughter any longer. A light shade of pink formed on Rai's cheek. He strode faster all of a sudden, leaving the three behind him. They guessed even the Noblesse could get offended by such trivial jokes after all. But that only made him seem ten times more adorable to Kiara.

"OH GOSH RAIZEL I'M SORRY, COME BACK!" Kiara snorted, dashing to catch up to Rai.

"Should we follow them?" Regis asked Seira, genuinely worried for Rai and Kiara both.

"Let them be for now, Regis. We'll take another route from here." Seira uttered, a tiny crack forming on the corner of her rosy lips.

Seira and Regis backed away from them, thinking it was wise of them to do so for now.

"RAIZEL I SAID I'M SORRY!" Kiara screeched in annoyance as Rai avoided her.

"Hmm..." Rai didn't say anything else.
