Rai and Frankenstein were drinking tea when they heard the doorbell.
"I'll go check who it is." Frankenstein said, getting up from the sofa.
"Oh, it's you guys. How are you?" Frankenstein said, with a wide, welcoming smile.
"We're fine. Why did you call us so early in the morning?" Kiara said, desperate to go home.
"It's 12 o'clock, Koko." Ikhan said while fixing his glasses.
"It's still early. I was planning to watch anime today." Kiara replied.
"Alrighty! Please come in now." Frankenstein said.
All of them went to the living room. Rai was sitting there sipping his tea.
"Whoa, Rai! You're here too?" Shinwoo said, excitedly.
"Oh, I know him personally so he's staying here with me." Frankenstein explained.
"So, Franky, what did you want to talk to us about?" Kiara asked.
"Yes, I wanted to discuss about what you guy saw yesterday."
"It was a frightening experience, really..." Yuna said, shrugging.
"What did you two see?" Frankenstein asked Ikhan and Yuna.
"While going home, I saw a weird man wandering around. He had red eyes." Ikhan said.
"I had seen a man with red eyes too! He was eating something which I think was a human body part...." Yuna said, with her head down. "I ran as quick as I could from the scene."
"Well you did the correct thing, Yuna." Frankenstein said.
"Did you get any more information about the incidents?" Shinwoo asked.
"Not really, I only got to know that these beings also attacked a few hospitals and laboratories." Frankenstein answered, with a worried facial expression.
"So what should we do now?" Kiara asked.
"Oh yes. I want you four to stay together in Kiara's place for a while while we investigate this situation further. All of you have to be really cautious and alert at all times. I'll will have a security team to guard Kiara's house too." Frankenstein explained, his voice as smooth and soft as silk.
"Okay, that's good. We'll stay together for a while...." Ikhan exclaimed.
"You guys can stay here. I bring you something to eat." Frankenstein said as he went to the kitchen.
"How odd. These incidents are pretty creepy." Shinwoo sighed.
"I agree. But look on the bright side. We have each other." Yuna said, with a smile.
Shinwoo blushed. Kiara looked at Shinwoo and grinned.😏 Shinwoo quickly brushed it off and started talking to Rai.
"Hey Rai, you haven't talked even once since we got here. Something wrong?" Shinwoo asked Rai.
Rai just stared at Shinwoo with a poker face.
"You really aren't the type who talks, are you?" Kiara said, glaring at Rai.
Still no reply.
"Okay let's play a game. I'm bored." Ikhan said.
They started to play games and time went by just like that. The kids made a huge mess, which Frankenstein had to clean up himself. He spent the rest of his day cleaning up.
"I'm never inviting them here to play again..." Frankenstein said while picking up the trash.
Apart from all the mess, they both definitely had fun. But little did they know about the challenge they were gong to face soon after.....
