Chapter 17: New students

A few days went by, the kids were discharged, M-21 was doing his job as a guard pretty well. He was the main attraction of the girls at the school. He stayed at Rai and Frankenstein's place. He couldn't really cope up with their kindness towards him. Kiara would often go to their to hang out and help them in normal works.

It was a normal day at school, until the teacher announced that there were two foreigners joining the class. It was a pretty girl and a short boy, both with white hair and foreign looks. All the students were in awe. Even Kiara was surprised too. The two introduced themselves. The girl was Seira, the boy was Regis.

As usual, Kiara's group decided to befriend them and show them their normal activities. Ikhan and Regis were the same height, so they became friends, although Regis was pretty grouchy.

Frankenstein realized they were nobles right away after they met him. They were going to stay with him too.

Once, the kids and Kiara met up at Frankenstein's without letting him know.
They completely ruined the house and when Frankenstein came, he was absolutely stunned. Even Rai had to clean up after the mess, all thanks to Kiara. There was a fight going on between M-21 and Regis, as usual, and it was total chaos. Regis disliked M-21 since he was a 'test subject'.

Seira and Regis were walking home after doing something one evening. Suddenly a group of men appeared in front of them. They were trying to harass the two when Kiara and Shinwoo interrupted them.

"Hello~May I know what you guys are doing to these two?" Kiara asked the men in a very polite manner.

"Oh my! This girl is even more beautiful than this one. What's your name?" One man said, smirking.

Kiara sighed, and punched the man.

"Excusé moi?! You have no right to eye on a potato like me UwU."

Everyone was shocked. Before the men could attack her, Shinwoo stopped them.

"How dare you even think about touching my friends?" Shinwoo shouted, as he hit the man hard.

Kiara and Shinwoo beat the men up until M-21 told them to stop. The men ran away and Seira thanked the two.

"Oh it's fine, that's what we do for our friends!" The two said cheerfully.

M-21 scolded Shinwoo a little bit since he could've gotten hurt. Shinwoo left a little while later, and Kiara was going to go to Frankenstein's with the others. Regis went past M-21.

"You're just a test subject who just wants power. Have a little shame at least." Regis said as he pushed M-21 aside.

M-21 looked angry, but Kiara saw that he was hurt by Regis' words. They came home soon after.

Rai was enjoying his ramen which Kiara cooked and everyone was eating dinner together. Kiara noticed M-21 wasn't there.

M-21 stood in the balcony thinking about the two foreigners. He was pretty upset. Kiara went up to him and sat on the railing.

"What's up, M-21? You look down." Kiara asked

"It's nothing, I'm fine." M-21 looked away from her.

"It's about what Regis said to you right? Don't take his words by heart. He didn't really mean it."

"I was just thinking about what their intentions are. They always roam outside at night."

"I guess they're just busy. Don't stress yourself about that. Come and have dinner now."

Kiara went in, followed by M-21. In the dining table, there was a creepy aura around M-21 and Regis. They both glared at each other intensely. Kiara and Frankenstein were worried about the two. But Rai didn't seem to care. He just ate his ramen like a good boy. After dinner, their fight was still going on.

"That's it! You two are getting out of hand!" Kiara said as she pinched both of their ears.

"Hey! Is this a way to treat a Noblesse?" Regis whined.

"Ow my ear~" M-21 screamed.

"Oof! You two need a time out!" Kiara started laughing.

"Why are you laughing?!" Both of them shouted.

Rai was looking at Kiara the whole time. He was relieved to see her like that. Her parents would have been happy if they saw her.

Regis and M-21
