Chapter 58: The final war

Rai, Frankenstein, Kiara and Aurora sped through the deal forest led by Kieran, towards the area where the enemies were claimed to be attacking. RK-5, Mia, Karias and Rael, as well as a few other Xavians were following their trail just a few miles behind. Danger was certain to be present ahead; that was all they knew for now.

"Before we go through this, I want to tell you guys that I'm sorry for dragging you all into this. Especially Raizel." Kieran stated, gazing at Rai with calmness in his eyes.

"It is very much alright, Kieran. This is what friends are for, isn't it?" Rai replied, a bright smile forming on his gorgeous face.

Rai left everyone in awe with him. How was he so good with words? No wonder why he was the heart and soul of Lukedonia. A blush formed on Kieran and Frankenstein's face as Rai's smiling eyes enchanted the both. Aurora and Kiara were left in confusion of what was going on.

After a few minutes went by, they arrived at the no man's land which was now, a sea of corpses. The terrifying scene in front of them was created by none other than Ryder and Jakoda. The duo and their followers stood opposite to them, ready for a catastrophic battle in the history of the Nobles and Xiarines.

"Greetings, Raizel, Kieran and everyone else of course! How'd you like our epic entrance?" Ryder and Jakoda chirped, spreading their arms as if welcoming them warmly.

"What is the purpose of all this, Ryder? Why're you with this freak Jakoda?!" Kieran growled.

"Tch, you dare badmouth about me, you useless Lord? There will be consequences." Jakoda hissed angrily.

Jakoda gestured the Xavian traitors to charge at them with all their might and within just a second, the battle commenced. It was a group of Noble, Xavian, Werewolf traitors against the righteous Xiarine soldiers and Rai's team. Were Rai and his team going to succeed? The stakes were high, but since they had the Noblesse and the Xiarine, losing was unlikely too.

After the previous battle, Rai was quite worn out and his powers were unsteady. Frankenstein begged his dear master to stay back while the rest handled this. It was for the best. Kieran was dealing with Jakoda while Ryder had his attention on the Xiarine.

"Not bad, but you still lack the important skills, Kiara Zaugustus Castriel. Tsk tsk, how can you be the ultimate Xiarine?" Ryder snorted, attempting to mock Kiara.

Ryder went for Kiara's head when she dodged the attack instead to facing it. That was one of her biggest flaws- she would always run farther from issues instead of dealing with them. With the months of strict training with Frankenstein and Aurora, Kiara was back in shape, but it still wasn't enough.

"I'll just get rid of you, then deal with my dearest brother." Ryder smirked, glancing at Rai mischievously.

Ryder continued to attack Kiara with all his might but to avoid dangers, she chose to keep on dodging and throwing small attacks instead of doing something big.

"What a shame my brother is friends with you. If you want, I'd gladly take you in my team." Ryder offered all of a sudden.

Ryder withdrew his powers and halted; so did Kiara. She was at loss for words. Ryder strode forward until he was just inches away from Kiara.

"I can make you ten times more powerful. Then we'll all rule over the world!" Ryder smirked as he whispered this in her ear.

Kiara sighed and then punched Ryder in the face, making his nose bleed.

"Sorry, dude. Being overpowered is not my thing." Kiara grinned as she charged at Ryder with her sword.

Meanwhile, Frankenstein, Aurora and the team were up against the most powerful traitors remaining. Many traitors had been killed already, but those who remained, were made stronger thanks to Jakoda.
