Rai and Kieran were flying side by side while Gejutel led the way. Kieran noticed that Rai seemed to be a little down.
"Raizel, I know you miss my sister piggy already, but try to cheer up a bit." Kieran teased.
"It is not that." Rai muttered, blushingly.
"Lord Kieran, why do you seem so excited?" Frankenstein asked, with narrowed eyes and a smirk.
Kieran rubbed the back of his neck and smiled nervously.
"Uh-I just haven't been to Lukedonia ever since Kiara had disappeared years back." Kieran replied.
Kieran used to visit Lukedonia frequently when he wasn't the Lord. He used to have a lovely time with previous Noble lord, Rai, and the current lord. However, after Kieran and Kiara's father went to eternal sleep, Kieran had to be crowned as the lord of the Xavians. Kiara was supposed to be to be the lord after their father died,but she had disappeared from Vallatia. Kieran was forcefully given the burden of being the lord. Due to all his responsibilities as the lord, he stopped visiting Lukedonia and practically never went to the outer world.
"We have arrived." Gejutel announced, as he set foot on the grounds of Lukedonia.
The others landed as well. Regis looked at Seira a little reluctantly. Seira nodded at him with a smile reassuringly. Everyone followed Gejutel inside the castle.
"I'll just look around for a bit. I'll join you guys shortly." Kieran said as he stood in the middle of the hallway.
Gejutel and the others nodded. It was probably best if Kieran didn't meet the Lord at the moment.
Gejutel opened the door to the throne room and walked up to the Lord, who was sitting on the throne.
"My lord, I have brought Seira and Regis along with me." Gejutel said.
Seira and Regis were standing beside Gejutel. Rai and Frankenstein didn't enter the room yet.
"Can you explain why you two didn't connect with Gejutel for the past few weeks? I heard that you were staying under him." The lord uttered, wearing a black cloak.
"We humbly apologize, lord. It was our carelessness." Seira stated, bowing to the Lord.
"Why is that? Did he manage to manipulate you two as well?"
"Not at all, Lord. He is truly a humble and generous man." Regis said.
"THAT IS NOT TRUE! He betrayed the Nobles. He doesn't deserve to be called 'humble'. The lord yelled furiously.
The lord took off her cloak and stomped towards Gejutel.
"Seira and Regis have betrayed me. They deserve to die." She hissed.
Gejutel's eyes widened.
"Lord, you can-"
"This is my final decision. I don't plan to change it at any cost." She roared.
"Excuse me, mind if we interrupt you?" Frankenstein exclaimed as he opened the door and entered the throne room along with Rai. The lord's eyes widened in fury. She gritted her teeth furiously.
"Cadis Etrama Di Raizel. How dare you set foot on my land with such attitude." She barked.
"I'm sorry, but my master didn't even say a single word. And you were the one who asked him to come, isn't it?" Frankenstein retorted.
"How dare you human-" She yelled as she charged at Frankenstein.
"Lascrea, please calm down." Rai intervened, stepping in front of Frankenstein.
