Her phone flashed and Harry's picure flashed on her phone screen. She unplugged her earphones and answered it.

"Hello?"

"Where are you?" He sounded worried, but she didn't care.

She didn't care about anything. It was like she was cut off from the world when she came to the park, and it felt good. Maybe she should do this more often.

"At the park."

"Why?"

"I don't know."

She heard him sigh and a door close.

"Are you okay?"

"Not really."

"I'm almost there, so I'll talk to you in a minute."

She didn't bother saying goodbye and just hung up the phone. She turned her music back on and closed her eyes, letting the cool breeze blow over her face. Someone sat down on the bench beside her, so she opened her eyes.

Harry pulled out one of her earphones and put in in his ear then hummed along. She paused the music and wrapped her earphones around her phone and looked at the empty park in front of her.

"Did you just leave the kids the kids by themselves?"

"Yeah, I told Darcy and Emily to watch them, but I suppose that wasn't such a good idea now that I think about it." He scratched the back of his head. "So what's bothering you?"

"What do you think is bothering me?" She said sarcastically.

"Sarah-" She stopped him.

"Look, can we just drop this and go home?" She avoided his eyes.

"No we need to talk about this."

"Fine." She crossed her arms.

"So what's wrong?"

"I have cancer! I'm probably going to die." She screamed.

"The doctor said you were getting better."

"I told him to tell you that so you wouldn't worry." A tear ran down her face and he wiped it away with his thumb.

"Sarah please stop lying to me. I can handle the truth."

"I know, but I can't." Her voice cracked so she covered her face with her hands.

He put an arm around her and she cried into his shirt.

"We can get through this. I'll take care of you don't worry."

"Please don't leave me." She choked out.

"I would never leave you." He pushed her hair out of her face and kissed her lightly.

"I love you." She had managed to stop crying and was now leaning into Harry's side.

"I love you too." There was a long silence then Harry decided it was okay to ask the question he was dying to know. "How long?"

"Two years." She looked into his eyes now shimmering with tears.

"Why is it we have so many problems?"

"I've been asing myself that question ever since I met you." He smiled.

"Am I worth it?"

"Of course." He laughed.

She stretched up to kiss him and he cupped her cheek with his hand.

"Let's go home."

They drove back in silence and she took a quick shower before going to bed.

"Sarah wake up!" Harry shouted from the doorway.

"What is it?" She said grumpily.

"Somthing's wrong with Rosy!"

She jumped out of bed and ran downstairs followed by Harry. She reached the cage and saw that Rosy was laying on her side barely moving.

She reached inside and picked her up, holding her close. She was light and frail as if she would break if you dropped her.

"Rosy?"

Normally her ears would flicker towards her and she would stand up, but she didn't move. Her stomach slowly moved up and down as she breathed.

"Please, Rosy." Sarah began to cry.

Rosy lifted her head one last time and looked at Sarah and Harry who were kneeling beside her cage.

Sarah watched as the light left her eyes and her body went limp. She stroked the lifeless body one last time then sat her in the cage. Harry hugged her from behind and she cried into his arms. She heard him sniff a couple times.

Rosy had been a big part in their relationship and now she was gone.
