LISA

Sitting on the swivel chair, putting my legs on the big desk in front of me, making me feel so relaxed, I have worked a lot this week. There are a ton of works needed to be finished in time.

Now, I've already finished it all, and I think that I need to release some stress this night, thinking of my buddy, I dial Chaeyoung's number, my partner in crime.

At the second ring, she picks it up, "Hello, dude. What's up?"

"Hanging out, tonight?" I ask, knowing that she will smile at what I asked her.

"Woah, Woah. I thought you are busy with your works?"

"Well, everything was done." I response with a smirk, knowing that she couldn't see it, but I still did.

Ring Ring!!

My office phone is ringing on the desk, making me jump a little.

"Wait, someone is callings me."

"Okay, just meet me at our usual place at 9:00, okay?" She asks.

"Okay, bye," I answer as I hang up without waiting for her to answer back.

I pick up the phone, thinking that it's about the works again, "Hello, boss. Mrs. Manoban wants to meet you."

"Okay, let's her in." I hang up, confused why my mom had to ask permission when she's always bursting into my office without even knocking.

A few minutes later, my door was opened, revealing my mother coming in with a grin on her face, "Hello, my daughter." She says as she sits on the white couch in my office.

"What makes you so happy, today? And one more thing why you had to ask for my permission while you could come in this room anytime." I furrow my brows at her.

"I try to be polite here. Can't I be a good sample for my own daughter." She answers, still showing a grin on her face.

I get a glass filled with water, giving to my mother, "No, It's just odd. Tell me, mom, what do you want?"

She takes the glass from my hand, clearing her throat, laughing a little at me, "Wow, look like my daughter is very smart."

I sigh, "Whatever it is. Please, spit it out. Just stop beating around the bush." I sit on the opposite couch.

"Okay. I found a new PA for you."

"WHAT!!!!" I nearly yell at her in shock.

"Calm down, Lisa. She is not like the others." My mom's trying to explain to me.

"Mom, please stop. I don't want any PA. I can work by myself." I reject.

"You can't. If you don't get her to be your new PA. Then, please go and find a new place to live. A new company to work in." She says, not looking at me.

"MOM! You just can't do that. All the people you have recommended for me always end up on my bed, don't you remember?" I smirk at her.

"I don't know! But she is different. Let me tell, you one thing. If you do something over boundary again, I promise LALISA, I am the one who will disown you." She speaks in a serious tone.

I am shocked because my mother never defenses someone like this before. Even the old personal assistants who she offered to me last time.

"Okay, where is she? I need to make sure that she is qualified with all the works because I don't want to work with a fool." I answer in an annoyed tone.

"If that's what you are worried. Don't worry, daughter. She is the best for this position." She tells me, showing a wide smile on her face.

"Jennie, come in." She adds as the door cracked open, revealing a young woman walking in.
