During the whole meeting, I see that Kai always catches a glance at Jennie. What the hell is wrong with him? He looks like he wants to eat my PA alive. I am so annoyed.

"Is that right, Ms. Manoban?" A man who presents the work asks me.

Honestly, I don't really pay attention to him because of that fucking bitch in front of me. He is so annoying.

"Um, Yeah," I answer, not wanting to look at him. I know I should be more professional when it comes to work, but I can't help. I don't usually like this, though.

"So, now is the end of my presentation." He says with a smile on her face.

Everyone clasps their hands including Jennie as they all get up and shake their hand and bid their goodbye towards each other, leaving only Jennie and me, wait!!

Why hasn't he gone, yet? Who is he waiting for?

He comes to Jennie, looking a little shy as I see his ears are red. "Hi, Jennie. Um, I mean Ms. Kim." He says as he glances at me.

"Hi, Kai. It's okay. You can call me Jennie. We are not working." Jennie answers, showing her gummy smile at him, making him more shy than he is.

"Okay. So, Jennie. Would you like to have lunch with me?"

"NO!" I cut him off, making both of them looking at me in unison.

"She can't," I add.

"What do you mean I can't?" Jennie asks with her brows up in confusion.

"Because you have already promised to have lunch with me, right?" I ask.

"But-" Before she can retort, I grab her hand, dragging her with me.

I glance back at Kai, seeing him look so sad and ashamed. Serve you right!

I grab Jennie's hand tightly and head to the lobby. When I know that Kai doesn't follow, I release her hand, looking at her, "Why? Want to eat that lunch very much!" I raise my voice higher than it is without intention.

"What? You are the one who dragged me here, yet you shouted at me that I wanted to eat that lunch! What the hell is wrong with you?" She snaps angrily.

"Thought, so. I could see your damn smile on your face when he asked you." I fire back.

"Oh, so you want me to cry when someone asks me to have lunch with them?" She glares at me with her brows curve together.

"It's different!"

"What is the difference?" She asks.

"Because you are so closed to him, you just knew him, and I don't want you to think that everyone who is being nice to you always has a good intention."

That's true. I have known since the first day that I met him. I know that he looks at Jennie in the way that I look at young models and some chicks who I have fun with, so I don't want anybody else to look at her like that. Even me!

She is my employee, and I should protect her, right?

"Including you?" She asks with sadness in her eyes.

"I don't-"

"This morning, when you do something good and don't irritate me. I thought that you have a good intention with me. So, what I thought is wrong, right?" She walks away, heading to the entrance.

I run towards her and grab her wrist, "Where are you going?"

"Where else? I go to get lunch and back to work. I have only an hour left." She says and yanks her my hand away.
