Chapter Thirteen

JENNIE

"Are you afraid?" I hear her asking while I close my eyes due to the pressure in my heart when the plane takes off.

I open my eyes slightly and look at her worried expression, "It's okay," I smile to assure her.

She squeezes my hand, taking it in hers and putting it on her lap, "Have you ever been on a plane before?" She asks softly.

"No," I answer shortly and shut my eyes closed as the plane flies higher.

She takes my head to rest on her shoulder with another arm wrapping around my mine, making my heart beat so fast. Not because of the plane, but because of her warm gesture towards me.

I feel so safe in her arms. I look at her one last time before falling in a deep slumber.

"Hey, get up." I feel a tap on my shoulder as I rub my eyes to see my boss's face in front of me.

"Have we arrived, yet?" I ask.

"Yeah, the plane will land in seven minutes." She smiles shyly as she gets her arm off of me. "Ouch," She groans in pain.

"What's wrong?" I grab her arm and look at it. "No, it's okay. I just feel a little numb."

"Why-" My eyes widen as a realization hits me. So, I sleep on her arm for the rest of the fly, almost ten hours?

"I am so sorry, Lis-"

"Calm down, Jennie. I said it's okay." I see her squeezing her eyes shut. "What's wrong? Your head hurts?" I ask her in a small tone.

She nods as her expression changes when I rub her temples slightly, "Jennie, It-"

"Shhhhh, let me help you. It's my job, right?" I continue rubbing her temples as she locks her eyes with mine.

"Close your eyes and relax," I command, not wanting her to look at me because I will do a better job if she doesn't.

"No, I will be more relaxed if I open them," She smiles mischievously.

"Why?" I furrow my brows, stopping my action.

"Okay, okay, just continue I will close my eyes." She says as she takes my hands back on her temples and shuts her eyes.

"Ehem," We both jump in shock as we hear someone clears her throat. When I look up, seeing Jisoo and Chaeng stands in front of us exchanging a knowing smile towards each other.

"What?!" Lisa snaps at the latter.

"Wow, wow, am I interrupting something?" Chaeng teases.

"Can't you see what we were doing, Chaeng?" She looks at the blonde with an annoyed expression.

Chaeng and Lisa are like a twin. They both have blonde hair and almost the same height. Lisa is so skinny while Chaeng is the same. They look so similar only that I find Lisa's smile is more attractive than Chaeng. What!!!!

What did I think? I facepalm myself at the back of my mind for thinking like that. After all, I still find Lisa is more arrogant than Chaeng. I find Chaeng is more sweet and gentle than Lisa. She and I had become friends since we first met. Unlike Lisa and I, we love each other so much like cat and dog from the time when her mother introduced me to her in her office.

"You can continue what you were doing in a hotel room. It's more comfortable than here." Chaeng says, making both of us look at her with a shock expression.

"Chaeng, we just-" I try to explain when she raises both her hands up in deny, "Jennie, I didn't like that. I know what you two were doing, but we have arrived now. Everybody is going out of the plane now, so?" She says as my cheeks become heater in embarrassment.
