LISA

Another time I see her crying in front of me, but I am numb with anger. She bolts outside with a slam on the door.

"What the fuck, Lisa?!" Jisoo shouts loudly as Chaeng flinches, but I don't give her any reaction she wants. "I am sure I will kill you. You hurt her again." She states before leaving to follow Jennie.

"What have you done, Lisa? You know she is your girlfriend, and you still have the gut to tell her to go away?" Chaeng says, rising up from her chair, glaring at me.

"What could I do, Chaeng?" I snap. "I don't remember her. She said I was in this state because of her, yet she left me?" I choke.
"Idiot, she left you because she was afraid that you would get relapse because of her." She yells, pacing around the small room.

"Wh-what?" I stutter, confused.

"The day, you got the accident; she cried so much. The day, you opened your fucking eyes; she was so happy and blissful to see you again because since you were in a coma, she always blamed herself that it was her fault." She states, looking at me with pitiful eyes. I hate that even my best friend thinks that I was wrong to get agitated with Jennie.

"Chaeng, was I that harsh on her?" I murmur.

She places a hand on my shoulder with a soft sigh, "Monkey, I only hope that when you remember the whole thing, you won't blame yourself for it."

"Tomorrow, when she comes to work, make sure to sorry her, okay? Tell her that you need some time and try to fix your relationship before it's too late. I am sure that even if you can't remember her, you still adore her. I can see it in your fucking eyes, Lisa." After that, she leaves me alone.

---

"Where is Jennie Kim?" I ask Hanbin when he enters my office to bring some important files to me.

"I-I don't know." He stutters.

I slam my desk, getting up. "You don't know, or you don't want to tell?"

This morning, she came to work as usual with her swollen eyes, but she didn't say anything to me though. I wanted to talk to her, but I thought I would take her to lunch to actually talk about it because it is much easier for me, but after I got out of my office, she had gone.

Going back to my office, I continued to work until Hanbin came.

"I really don't know, Ms. I didn't have lunch with her today." His face reddens slightly before he adds, "I went with my girlfriend."

"What? You have a girlfriend?" I ask in bewilderment.

"Yeah, even before Jennie went back to work here." He states.

I am shocked at the news, so I was uselessly spending my time being jealous. "Uh, you can go now, but when you see her, please tell me, okay?"

He nods, stating confidently, "Ms. Manoban, I don't want to meddle in your relationship or whatever it is between you two, but I just want to remind you that if you don't want her now, someone else will grab her, and you can't stop that when it happens." He gives me a small smile before leaving me with another confusion.

I open my laptop and about to do my work when I see Jennie with a big smile on her face going inside and starting to work, and that makes me smile as well only until someone comes inside too and hands her the thing that I recognize as her purse.

My chest tightens when I see that man, Kai. So, she is going to eat lunch with him?

I call through the desk phone as she picks it up immediately, "Come inside. Now." I talk through her desk phone as she glances at my office, maybe realizing that I witness her and Kai.
