JENNIE

I spent the night at Jisoo's house, weeping for the whole night because of missing Lisa and the image of her with that girl kissing her on the cheek remained on my mind in my head.

In the morning, after preparing to work, I heard Jisoo telling me that Lisa was sick, she couldn't go to work today. My face went pale, pity washed all over my entire body. Jisoo also told me that Chaeng visited Lisa last night, and that monkey drank a lot, and apparently, that's why she is sick.

After eating breakfast that Jisoo prepared for me, she told me that Chaeng was waiting for me outside her house. I was so shocked at that time when she informed me that Chaeng came here to pick me up and went to Lisa's penthouse.

I refused at first, but Chaeng went inside the house and told me about the terrible things I didn't want to here like Lisa is miserable last night. That she missed me like I missed her.

Guess what? I still didn't agree to go. After all, I thought that I couldn't face her now, not alone with her, but Jisoo and Chaeng acted like they were Lisa's parents telling me about her unintentional mistake that I should give her a chance to explain.

For Chaeng, I understand because she is her best friend. But for Jisoo, I was so dumbfounded at her interest and understanding for Lisa. Usually, she would kill someone who hurts me even a little, not to mention, a single tear. Because of their insistence, I finally decided to go there.

After dropping me off in front of the penthouse, Chaeng left me as she said she was busy.

---

I go inside the house as I know the codes, roaming my eyes everywhere as I call her name, "Lisa,"

Without hearing anything, I lock the door and bolt to the living room, seeing her lying on the floor with the duvet on her body. I cup her face in pity. Before looking at her eyes, I thought Chaeng lied to me when she said that Lisa was crying like a child last night, but now, I believe it as I see her swollen eyes and her puffy cheeks.

She looks gorgeous despite her flaws. Suddenly, I scowl at her, seeing that bastard smiles from ear to ear with her closed eyes. Not to mention, she grabs my wrist and puts it on her mouth. My face burns red as I can't believe what happens now.

I am dead worried about her, yet she still has that tendency to trick me that way. I hiss, trying to pull my wrist away and getting up, but guess what? That monkey won't allow me. She is so fucking strong despite her skinny body.

"Lisa, let me go,"

That bastard finally opens her eyes and looks at me, "NO!" She says firmly.

"You-"

She pulls me in her arms as we lie on the floor together with me on her strong and firm body. Her hand goes to the back of my head, and another one caress my back slightly, making a shiver run down my spine in her touch.

Trying to get out of her arms, I glare at her, "Lisa, I haven't forgotten about what happened yesterday, yet." I state calmly, knowing that it's useless to attempt to fight with her now.

I am taken aback when she's tense, and says with an inscrutable face, "I am sorry, Jennie. I didn't cheat on you. I am sorry, Jennie. I am so sorry." She says as she hugs me tightly as if she's afraid, I am going away if she releases me.

"Lisa," Finally, I give in and hug her back. Instantly, I feel a droplet of water on my arm, looking at her, as I am stupefied, realizing that it is Lisa's tear. "Lisa, why are you crying? Are you hurt somewhere?"

Shaking her head, she places my hand on her heart, "It's hurt here," I don't want to admit, but her eyes tell me that she is in pain. She continues sobbing as she confesses more, "I hurt because my only Jennie Kim didn't believe me. She didn't even give me a chance to explain."
