Jennie

I am not sure how to believe that even she lost her memory, everything around her is the same. By walking in this office again after three years, I thought that it changes, seeing the decoration and different stuff, but the see-through glasses surrounded her office, which she could watch from inside is the same shit.

I have to say that it really reminds me of the days I was working with her, and that thing was a kind of annoying thing I dislike. It just likes you are wearing a nightgown in which a person can peek inside freely, and another person, clads in soldier armor instead, and you can't see them back. It's not fair.

She hisses, "Did you hear what I was asking?"

"Excuse me, I don't really know what your problem is. I just talked to my co-worker." I fire back.

"That's why I asked you. Both of you seem closed to each other, and I am just confused." She says.

"You don't change, do you?" I ask, forgetting that she doesn't remember me. The thought tastes bitter in my mouth.

"Huh?" Confusion is all over her face.

"Nothing, Hanbin and I are friends. We've known each other before... that's all." I turn my back, "If you don't have anything else to ask, I am going to work now." Not waiting for another question, I literally bolt outside.

---

Coming back from the toilet, I hear giggling and laughing from Lisa's office because apparently her door is opened slightly. I want to see who's there, but intrusion is not my thing, so I let it pass. The laughter is louder and louder until I hear that name that I haven't heard for the last three years. Nightmare is heading towards me now.

"Yeri, I can't believe you have done that," Lisa shouts while clutching her stomach chuckling like an old person.

"I am your-"

Couldn't take it anymore, I intrude, "Sorry, may I close this door? I need to work." Yeri turns to me, shocked to see me here.

Lisa clears throat, getting up from her chair, "Uhh, Yeri. This is Jennie, my new PA. I-"

"I know her," Yeri answers, cutting Lisa off as she holds my gaze. She heads towards me with an emotionless expression, "I can't believe you really love this job, huh? You aren't even afraid of her health?" She whispers as Lisa is standing at the desk.

"I care about her more than you care about her. If I hadn't been, I would not have left her with you." I answer back, carefully not to make Lisa hear about our discussion.

She steps back, holding her hand up, "Well, nice to see you again, Miss. Jennie Kim." I accept her hand, oblivious about her intention towards me when Lisa comes and puts her hand on Yeri's shoulder comfortably. "Why don't you tell me that you have known her?" She asks Yeri as I release the latter's hand.

I look away a little, and when I turn back, I see a smirk on Yeri's face. I admit that after these years, Lisa being with other women still affects me like the first time I have been her girlfriend. She is more mature now, though as what her best friend said to me.

Chaeng and Jisoo helped me finding a new apartment, and when we had lunch together at Jisoo's house, Chaeng told me that Lisa changed since she woke up. She stopped hanging out or hooking up, and I wondered after these three years, did she sleep with anyone? But I didn't have any tendency to ask because it is too personal for her to share that stuff with, or maybe, I didn't really want to hear the answer even if my intuition told me that Lisa didn't sleep with anyone. Who knows, right?

She is still as gorgeous as ever. Charming as ever. Well, a little arrogant or more arrogant now, but it is her personality as a sole heir of billionaire's businessman.
