Chapter Twenty-Five

Yesterday was a great day for the four of us. We cooked and ate a lot of food together since Lisa and Chaeng bought many different types of ingredients from the grocery store, so Jisoo unnie and I were the ones who made the food. We drank and danced until midnight before Chaeng was sober and took Jisoo home at five o'clock in the morning. Apparently, they were leaving just a few hours ago.

Even if they've just told me about their relationship, I knew that these two are good together. After all, Chaeng is the one that I think she is the best choice for my only Jisoo.

After Jisoo and Chaeng left, Lisa and I decided to take a rest before coming to work since today is Monday, and she has an important meeting, so we can't skip this day because it's very important. She asked me to sleep at home if I was exhausted from the small party we had had, but I refused.

After having breakfast, we arrive at the company at nine o'clock since the meeting is at ten and thirty minutes.

Swaggering around the place before going inside the meeting room, Lisa makes everyone's eyes on her as she steps inside. Everyone mumbles to each other seeing my hot boss, wearing a black pantsuit with beautiful high heels that look best on her. I mean my girlfriend, though. I still can't adjust to calling myself her girlfriend or her my girlfriend, yet.

As the meeting starts, everyone pays attention to the presenters who show their works on the slides, feeling so proud of themselves as if they are the expertise of the presentation.

I take a glimpse of Lisa, seeing her glancing at me from time to time as my cheeks burn in embarrassment.

I sit beside her, but when I turn my unintentional gaze towards a few women in the room. I see them also glancing at Lisa and giggling like high school girls seeing their crushes. Well; I detest these women's eyes now. Why do they have to gaze at their boss like that? They should focus on the people who try to present their work to them instead, right?

I blink a few times before heaving a deep sigh to hide my frustrated feelings or rather the jealous one.

No, it's not. It's just the annoying one, I guess.

After a while, I feel a soft but firm hand on mine, and I don't have to look at whose hand is this, but I glare at her in annoyance. I think that naughty monkey might sense what it is in my mind. That's why she smirks, trying to suppress herself from bursting into laughter.

The meeting ends successfully, or maybe not. Lisa has asked me to bring her a cup of coffee since she felt so tired and sleepy now. After making a cup of fresh black coffee for her, I push the door of her office slightly with one of my hands because she told me to go inside whenever I want since I am her official girlfriend now. That girl can't be more sweet, right? My lips curve up into a smile, feeling so proud that I have someone who loves me this much.

I step inside her office before locking the door and walks to her desk, but the sight in front of me is the most horrible thing I've ever seen in my life. Lisa sits on her swivel chair as a young girl, about twenty years old, flops on her lap. I squeeze my eyes shut for a few seconds, not believing what I saw. Unfortunately, when I open my eyes, it's still there, and that's fucking real. As the girl kisses Lisa on the cheek, the coffee mug on my hand drops on the floor, making both of them looking at me in shock.

My tears start streaming down on my cheeks as I can't control it anymore. My heart beats faster, and I know for sure that it's not the good one. Finally, I realize that being cheated is that painful. I've watched many dramas, and every time, the girls cry because of their lovers, I've never thought that this is the feeling I receive right now.
