I shoot my eyes open in shock.

"WHAT?"

"He always tells me before he leaves, but he's gone and I dont know where he is." The tears started swelling up in ivory's eyes.

"I'll help you look for clues or find him, it's alright relax and take a deep breath. We will find him Ivory."

We leave the room and start looking for clues.

I go to the bathroom first see if maybe he left anything lying around.

Whats this?

Little whispy splotches layed on the sink, half dissolved.

I picked it up.

The material was soft, but had a rubbery texture. It was mostly white, but had little flushes of light pink.

Is this..skin?

"Hey Ivory?"

She quickly peeked over the side of the door, "Find some-"

Ivory looked at the skin and went pale.

"What IS that!?"

"I think it may be flesh."

"Flesh?"

"Yeah.."

"From Jack you think?"

"I think it may be from him, yes."

Her eyes got suspicious, "Why would it be from Jack?"

"His sides?"

"His sides? What do you mean?"

Are you kidding?

"W-what?"

"What is wrong with his sides?"

I laughed hysterically, "What? Didn't he tell you?"

"Tell me what?" She was starting to loose patiance and I can tell.

"His parents?"

"What about them?"

"Didn't he tell you what they did to him? They basically pulled him on cement."

Her eyes widened and she put her hands over her mouth.

"Really? What kind of sick twisted person-"

"They were drunken.."

She went silent for a while.

"Well..."

"We need to find him.. if his skin is peeling of theres gotta be something wrong." She straightened herself, "And I need to be there to protect him."

"I understand. "

I walked out of the bathroom and she followed.. into Jessica's room next.

His jacket was still where he left it- apparently as always- hanging in the closet.. but nothing else out of the ordinary.

Next the parents room.

The man and woman were still sleeping in there bed, facing away from each other.

I checked in the closet, by the plug ins and under the bed.

Nothing.

"I'm going downstairs. "

"Alright Ivory. "

She left and I followed.

We went to the kitchen thinking that would be the last place that we would find something.

She picked up a paper off the table.

I looked over her shoulder and read it.

"Dear Ivory,

I'm sorry but I don't think I'm gonna be back. I love you.

Jack."
