He rides in the back of a taxi, seeing a billboard of you and it stings his heart. You haven't been broken up for a long time and he gets drunk every night just to forget you.
He sighs looking out of the window and he fights the urge to fight the tears because he missed you so much and you weren't his baby anymore.
You touched every part of him. His heart, his hips, his body, his love and he couldn't forget you even though he tried to every single day
He takes the long way home to keep his mind occupied because he knows he'll think of you again when he is alone and they stop at a traffic light. Silently he thinks of asking the light if it'll be alright and he already knows the answer
They will say i don't know
He shakes his head as he passes another billboard of you. It was all he had of you, just living in this town with him. And the memories, but that stung too much.
He meets your blue eyes and he knows that he'll be drunk tonight again and it won't be enough.
