The melodramas of what had happened yesterday had been deeply repressed in the back of your head. You didn't want to remember all the things that had Shinso had said to you in the quiet corner of the library. All you wanted to do now was enjoy your new found summer vacation. Sure you had some reading assignments to do and some math packets but who cares? Your classmates had all agreed that you would just copy off of each other anyways.

Today you were going to head out with your close friend, Jiro. There was a street fair that would be happening in the city commemorating heroes and their valiant efforts. You were excited to try all the different snacks and goodies that would be provided. You slipped on a pair of ripped jeans and a (color) tank top. Throwing on a jean jacket for the later chilly weather, you headed out to meet up with Jiro.

The purple haired rocker was waiting for you at the train station. She wore her usual attire of a striped t shirt with cargo pants and black combat boots. The two of you smiled when you saw each other.

"Hey, (Name)!" she called out. "Are you ready?"

"Of course!" You went in to give your friend a hug. "So you said some other peeps from class were coming. Do you know who?"

Jiro backed away from you, her eyes averting yours. "Okay don't get mad but...."

"But?"

She let out a deep breath. "First, I had invited Tsu cause why not? She's cool. Then Denki overheard and wanted to tag along too and I said it was fine." She blushed when she said his name. "Pretty much long story short, Denki told Yaoyorozu who is of course coming with Shinso and somehow during all of this Monoma found out and is supposedly coming too."

You widened your eyes at her. "Jiro, what the-! I just! How could this happen? I told you what happened at the party, didn't I?"

"I'm sorry, (Name). I really am. It all got out of my control. I mean, what are the chances that we're all gonna end up hanging out together anyways?"

"I guess you're right but still....Things have just been so off lately with me and Shinso that I just don't want to think about the possibility of me and him meeting up."

She nodded in understanding. "I get it. But you guys still haven't talked yet after all of that?"

You shook your head. "Nah, he just messages me random stuff like it never even happened."

"Man, that kid is unbelievable. Well, forget it, let's just go out and have fun!"

Jiro looped her arm through yours and the two of you walked into the station to hop on the next train. With your friend by your side hopefully this day would go by smoothly.

When you exited the station, you were greeted by the sight of hundreds of colorful balloons and streamers adorning the streets. There were large papier-mache figures of all the pro heroes as well as giant cut outs of them to take pictures with. You couldn't wait to join all the festivities that were taking place.  You walked around down the bustling streets with Jiro, who was holding onto your hand tightly so that the two of you wouldn't be separated. Up ahead you saw a stall that was selling wonderful looking yukatas for the summer. You were curious to see what they had to offer so you pointed it out to Jiro. She grabbed your hand and started shoving people out of the way. Even though the event had started about an hour ago, there were already huge lines for food vendors.

"Hey, hold on Jiro!" you called out to her.

You had noticed that one of your shoes was untied. But Jiro couldn't hear you since a large group of teens had managed to separate the two of you. In your attempts to quickly push pass people and find Jiro again, you ended up tripping on your shoe laces. You put your hands in front of your face to break your fall, but instead your hands ended up touching the soft chest of someone else.
