Good to You

The door had been flung open and in a mess, you scrambled out of the once quiet home of Aizawa sensei. Your shoes slipped and slid over the cold, wet pavement; making you fall on your knees. But your heart was pounding and your head was spinning so you quickly dusted yourself off and ran. Behind you, you heard Shinso calling out your name. He was getting closer by the sound of it. You kept turning corners around the neighborhood hoping that you would lose him. But he was persistent.

What do I do? What do I do?

Your lungs burned and your legs felt like they were going to give out any second. But you still kept pushing on. You couldn't afford to slow down for even a slight second. The rain felt like it was falling heavier than before. Your sweater was drenched now and weighed heavily against your body.

You noticed a field nearby and ran towards it. You almost slipped and fell on your face as you began running down the hill. Instead, you fell with your palms breaking your fall. Your (h/c) hair stuck to your face as tears mixed with rain fall fell down your cheeks. You kept trying to get back up on your feet but each time your hands slipped on the wet grass. Behind you, you heard the sound of mushy footsteps.

"(Name)...."

It was Shinso.

He walked around to stand in front of you. He bent down and grabbed your elbows to help you stand up. You smacked his hands away.

"Stop it, I don't need your help," you sneered.

You hid your face from him, not wanting him to see how distraught you were.

"(Name), please hear me out," Shinso pleaded.

You shook your head. "I've heard of enough."

Shinso fell down on his knees in front of you.

A clap of thunder was heard above.

"We shouldn't be here. It's dangerous," he expressed his concern. "Please, can we go somewhere to talk?"

"N-No, I don't wanna go anywhere with y-you," you stammered. You wrapped your arms around yourself. "I just wanna go home."

Tears flowed down your face like a stream. Shinso didn't know what to do to comfort you.

"Fine," he said. "You can go home but I just want to say something. You can choose to not listen to me or whatever but I'm still going to try and talk to you."

You merely shook your head at him.

"After my parents....passed away," Shinso began. "Yaoyorozu and I met up one day while I was out getting some groceries for myself."

"Should I get bbq or sour cream flavored?" he murmured to himself.

"Personally, I think bbq chips are the best."

He heard a girl giggle next to him. When he looked over, it was the girl from class 1A. Her hair was up in her usual ponytail hairstyle and she wore a fluffy white sweater with a denim skirt. Shinso eyed the girl for a moment as she smiled back at him.

"Okay, I'll try these," he said. "But if they suck then you owe me."

"Really? I owe you? You don't have to take my advice y'know," she shrugged.

She began to push her cart down the aisle of the supermarket. Her cart had eggs, flour, cooking oil, and other ingredients. Shinso matched his walking speed to hers and began to walk next to her.
