Rapidly typing on my keyboard; eyes glued to my computer screen. My friend and I had a bet, a bet that I will win. We were both had Wattpad accounts and books of our own. But we made a bet with other to see who could get their book to 1,000 reads first.
At this point in time I was winning by 40 reads. But I wasn't far enough to be satisfied.
Pressing save and publish of my computer, my reads shot up to 237 from 219. I smiled at my book proud and pleased with myself. I opened up a new tab to write another entry. Ideas were just bursting with ideas. Clicking save publish, I went to go check on the reads for both of our books.
