Nancy always loved traveling. Being born in aberdeen was memorable for her. At the age of six, her mom packed up their belongings and traveled until they found a home in Derry, Maine. There, Nancy's mom, Elizabeth, also found love in the form of oscar bowers.

They married and remained together until Elizabeth's death from heart failure. Having no blood related family, nancy stuck with the bowers'. She liked it. But that was before henry started to be a constant pain. He would shove her against the wall, calling her names, blaming her for the death of her mom.
