Eddie paced around the room, Richie tood by the bar as Nancy sat by Bev. "Okay what do you mean you've seen us all die?" Eddie asked.

"Yeah cause I gotta be honest, that's a fucked up thing to just drop on somebody." Richie said as he poured himself a drink.

"I've been having these nightmares. People dying. . .people." Bev managed to say as tears fell down her face.

"So you have nightmares! I have nightmares, people, they have nightmares. But that doesn't mean that your visions are true. . " Eddie rambled on.

Bev shook her head at Eddie. "I've watched every single one of us . . "

"Seen every single one of us what?" Bill entered the room, Mike behind him.

"We're all going to die." Nancy mumbled.

"Why can't we see this shit? Why is she so special?" Richie whined.

"She was the only one caught in the deadlights that day." Bill said.

"We were all touched by it. Changed. Deep down. An infection or a virus. You understand?" Mike tried to get the others on his side. "That's virus, it's been growing for twenty seven years this whole time. It got to Stan first because-"

"He was the weakest." Richie finished for him

Bill groaned. "Jesus christ, Rich."

"I'm just saying what everyone else is thinking man." Richie looked over at Nancy and instantly regretted his words.

"Not me." Nancy mumbled.

"What Beverly sees, it will come to pass. It's what will happen to all of us eventually unless we stop it." Mike said.

"How the hell are we supposed to do that?" Eddie asked.

"The ritual of chud." Mike simply said. "They fought it first. They have a saying 'all living things must abide by the laws of the shape they inhabit.'" Mike explained.

"A tribal ritual?" Richie interrupted. "Are you fucking kidding me, man? There's gotta be another way. I mean this thing comes back, what? Every twenty seven years? Let's kick the can down the road and do it then."

"Wait, we'll be seventy years old asshole!" Eddie said annoyed.

"It doesn't work that way. None of us make it another twenty years and the way it happens. . ." Bev cried out, Bill comforted her as tears streamed down her face.

"So if we don't beat it in this cycle, we die." Ben repeated bev's words in a much simpler way.

"Horribly." Eddie added as he paced.

"Yeah, I didn't need the horribly part." Richie said.

"I didn't say it, she said it not me."

Bill then decided to speak up. "I've seen w-what he's talking about. It's all true. It's the only way. If we want this ritual to work. ."

"We have to remember."

"Remember what?"
