-CHAPTER THIRTY-
Christmas break wasn't funny at al. Theo had expected it to be, he had expected himself spending it with Boris and celebrate Christmas with him. But instead, he sat alone on his room looking on his Christmas presents he had got from Xandra and his father. One of them was even from Mrs. Barbour, which he hadn't expected. They hadn't talked for months now and to be honest Theo never thought about her at all. He had been busy thinking about a lot other stuff the last few months. One of these things was to not run away from what he was supposed to call home by now, and a devil that he was supposed to call dad. Larry had been very...strange lately and Theo couldn't understand what was wrong with him. He always pretended to ignore him when Theo walked into the kitchen in the morning and said good morning, and he hadn't touched him for months. Not even to give him a hug -which was something he had started to get used to.
"Do you like it?"
Theo looked up from the presents on his bedroom floor, looking up on the doorway where Xandra was standing leaning against the door. It was about eight pm on the 25th of December. The heaven was alreduly dark as the darkest black, covered with a thousand stars and a big shiny moon. But all Theo could think about was Boris. He hasn't heard from him in two weeks now, and he hadn't thought about going there to meet him either. He couldn't imagine going there just to notice he wasn't there anymore. Was he alright? What if he had left without even saying goodbye? After all they had gone through?
"The presents?" Theo said, his voice cracking a little after some of hours without speaking. Xandra licked her red lips and nodded, stepped inside the room and carefully sat down on the bed beside him. "Yeah, I guess. I haven't opened it yet.." Theo mumbled, flashed a look on the presents on his floor before she looked up on Xandra again, her baleblue eyes meeting his.
"I hope you'll like it." She stood up from the bed and started to go toward the door again, her almost a little too tight jeans shaping her long and tiny legs and her V-necked, red, blouse covering her curvy over body. It was a little too small, but Theo supposed it was why she bought it from the very beginning. To show more than she really needed to. "It's someone outside, by the way.. I think you want to take this." She said and Theos eyes bright up instantly, as he jumped up from the bed. He ran out from his room, feeling Xandra eyes glancing on him as he ran down the stairs and immediately to one of the widows, his eyes glancing out on the street. He felt his whole body calm down as he saw Boris leaned against a silver coloured car. He sighed deep, taking a deep breath before he walked toward the hall and pulled on his shoes.
His eyes glanced on the door for a minute, a thaousand of thought running through his head until the one that this might be the last time he'd meet Boris hit him. What would he do without Boris? What would he be without Boris?
Theo opened the door and stepped outside, his hands covered in his pockets as he slowly walked down the staircase, felt how Boris eyed was already stuck on him. 14 feets apart, 13, 12, 11...3. Theo looked up from the ground and met Boris brown puppy eyes, should the stars reflection.
"Hey, potter." Boris whispered low. Theo gulped hard, felt how he wanted to cry like a little baby for a second before he looked up on Boris again and realized that there were no need to cry. Boris would never leave him, would he?
"Hey." Theo mumbled. Boris sighed low and stood up, his hands digging down in his pockets as he glanced Theo up and down, examining his black jeans and grey, warm sweatshirt. "You're leaving...?" Theo whispered and glanced the ground again. Boris licked his dry lips and sighed on the inside.
