Song : Ratta Maar from Student Of The Year.

"AARAVVVVVVVV!" I yelled.
"Why can't you let me sleep?"
"Because our results are coming out today and I can't sleep anymore! They'll be out in a few hours."
"Crap."
"I know, crap!"
"They're out at 10 am sharp, right?"
"Naina's coming here in five." I said.
"And Sam?"
"How will I know? He's too occupied with Rashi to even notice us these days."
"Just say that you're jealous." He said walking towards the bathroom.
"I am not jealous." I said kicking the bathroom door after it closed.
It had been a long time since we came back from the trip. Exactly 6 months. 12th board exams came and went. Today was the day we got to know our results. We were all under pressure. Less than ninety percent would get us nowhere.
In these six months, some things had changed, some hadn't. Aarav and Naina were still together. Sam had a girlfriend and he seemed to be pretty serious about it. I, on the other hand was rejected by every guy who I took interest in. So, after trying for a few times, I stopped. I was happy single.
"Choti. " My twin walked out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist.
"What?" I asked.
"Aloo, I'm here - Aarav get a shirt on." Naina walked in.
"You can't deny you love seeing me this way." He told Naina and turned towards me.
"Choti, Naha le.""Wait here. I'll be back in five minutes." I said walking into the bathroom.
Half an hour later, as I looked for socket to plug in my laptop charger, Sam walked in.
"Hey."
"Hey." I replied.
Thay had been it for the past six months. The two of us were just 'hey-ing' each other
"Aloo, it's time." Naina said.
"Gimme a sec."
I opened my laptop and stared at my Damon Salvatore screensaver.
"Jai Ganga Maiyya ki." I sighed and logged into the website.
Since the two of us were too afraid to check our own results, Aarav and I had decided to check each other's.
I started calculating his percentage on my phone calculator. The guy had got 90 above in everything! Now, I am done for!
"Ready?"
"Ready." I replied.
We exchanged the sheets of paper we had.
I looked at the paper in my hand. 69 percent?
My life is done. I am done. All my dreams, my aspirations. Gone.
"Naina, I got 96%!" My brother hugged Naina.
"Congratulations bro." Sam hugged his best friend.
Tears trickled down my cheeks. My life was over. Christ university. Screen writing. Gone. Everything.
