"Naina? Are you done?" I heard Sameer calling outside the door.
"Give me five minutes." Naina said.
"Abbe, pichle aadhe ghante se five minutes kiye jaa rahi hai. Kitna time lagta hai? I coming in."
"Do I look that bad?" Naina asked.
I turned around. Sam had stopped dead on his tracks.
"Yes... I mean no... I mean you look amazing." Sam said.
"Are you telling that to me, or to her?" Naina said pointing at me.
"You."
"So why are you looking at her while you're saying it? I know she's prettier and all but seriously, I am the bride." Naina said.
I felt my cheeks burning. I saw Sam doing his repetitive action of looking down at his feet and running his hand along the back of his head, an action which occurred only when he was embarrassed.
"Chill, I was pulling your leg." Naina said laughing. "By the way, where is my hone wala pati?"
"He's downstairs."
"Aloo, did you feed Waffles?" Naina asked me.
"Yeah. He's been locked in with Pixie. Let's go now." I said pulling her hand.
"You had to say that, didn't you?" I said as soon as we got out if the room.
"I'm your bff. I'm supposed to say stuff like that." Naina laughed.

"Dodo. Ekdom first class lagche." I told Aarav in Bengali.
"You cleaned up nice yourself." He said.
"And for a change, it's Naina and you who are twinning." I said.
He was wearing a royal blue kurta along with a gold pants and Naina was wearing a a royal blue lehenga with golden embroidery. Oh yes, you guessed it right. I had selected the attire.
"But you're twinning with someone else, as I can see." He smirked.
It was true. I had decided the colour scheme for each day. For the mehendi it was supposed to be green and for the Sangeet it was to be blue. My lehenga was a shade of sky blue as were Sam's kurta was of the same colour.
"Shut up. That was totally unintentional." I said. "Unless, you told Sam that I was wearing this."
"That's totally on him. I swear I didn't tell him anything." Aarav said.
"Bye now. Someone needs to conduct your sangeet. And yes, we're gonna beat you." I said.
"You wish." He replied.
"Good evening everyone!" I announced.
"Namaste mere parivaar ke logo." Sameer said running up on stage.
"What are you doing?" I whispered all while smiling at the audience.
"There should be someone for the boys side also." He answered.
"Fine. Just don't spoil it for me." I said.
"So, today there is a challenge. Between the boys and the girls." Sam said.
