"Reflect upon your present blessings -- of which every man has many -- not on your past misfortunes, of which all men have some." – Charles Dickson

Dominic Jones

"Poverty pussy having ass bitch!" Senior spat yelling at one of the store clerks

"Senior." Angel snapped slapping him in the back of his head

"He saying yo pussy broke, you dry as hell. Year round drought you heard." Dom told the lady who was looking around confused

"But didn't you go broke, ok then nigga." The lady said rolling her eyes

Dom squinted his eyes and looked down at her name tag. "Look here Carla, mind yah business bitch." He said waving her off

"Buck teeth bill, beaver looking ass hoe. How much wood could a wood chuck chuck head ass."

"Dominic!" Angela and Kia yelled in unison

"What? This hoe acting like she can't do her job, I asked her a simple question and she caught a whole ass attitude." Senior sat shrugging

"And now you see why I don't wanna work for nobody, hoes come to work mad– like quit bitch it's never that serious." Dom said staring directly at Kia

They woke up this morning to go to the store to buy some groceries for the house. It's been about two, three weeks now since they been staying with his parents.

"Is it a reason you still standing there? Your assistance is no longer needed." Senior mumbled dismissing her

She rolled her eyes and stomped away. "The longer we live with your parents the more the senior pops out of you." Kia told him

Dom frowned, he didn't know why but he took offense to that. In his mind he felt like she didn't appreciate his efforts.

"I'm trying I am, it wasn't my decision to tell them about my problems Kia. You told them– you know what nevermind. I'mma just stop before I say something I regret. Where the keys at?"

"Why you need the k–." He cut her off putting his hand out

"Dom where are you going son?" Angela asked and he shook his head

Kia dug in her purse and grabbed the keys. She placed them in his hand, before they could question him he walked away.

"This nigga dramatic." Senior chuckled

Dom pulled out his phone and went to his recent locations, clicking on Maggie address as he walked to the car. He wasn't worried about how Kia was getting back to his parents house because he knows that she can ride with them. He unlocked the car door and got in, he put the keys in the ignition. Cranking up the car he pressed start on the gps and sped off.

He shot Kia a text telling her that he needed to clear his head and that he loved her. He knew she was going to be upset but he would handle that later.
