Dominic Jones

"Shut the fuck up before I stick my dick up yo ass." Senior told Angela

"You would like that won't you Senior?" Angela smirked blowing kisses his way

"You hoeing on me? I ain't never hit it from the back."

Dom scrunched his face up. Placing his hand over his ears.

"Y'all to old for that shit." Lamonte told them

"Old nigga, young dick." Senior told them shrugging

"Y'all here because?" Dom asked them

"We can't come check up on our son? Sheesh were never wanted." Angela pouted

"Y'all can't never be normal."

"I remember that time they came to pick us up from school after practice. We was wondering what was taking them so long, so we walked outside and they were fucking in the backseat." Lamonte said

"Nasty motherfuckers I was so embarrassed." Dom chuckled scratching the side of his face

"We're grown as fuck." Senior waved them off

"Anyways where's my daughter?" Angela asked changing the subject

"She's with Webb ma, this case shit taking a toll on her."

"How's the case coming along?"

They looked at Lamonte waiting for an answer.

"All I can say is were trying to avoid jail time at all costs but in exchange she will be on probation on top of paying off those investors."

"What if y'all have another suspect? When we first started investing in other companies we hired this men name Mr. O'Riley, he was a good business man until he became money hungry. We noticed funds starting to disappear so we fired him but he still popped up occasionally."

"I'll look into it Dom, we will figure it out. Because somethings not adding up. I'mma call Webb." Lamonte stood up and stepped into another room

"Girl stop playing with me." Dom watched as Senior smacked Angela on the side of her neck

He shook his head walking towards his room. He was putting his trust into Lamonte for the second time in his life, hoping he don't break it again.

Kia Jones

"No matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow."

"Ok Maya Angelou." Kia teased laying her head against his chest. "Dom." Kia mumbled looking into his eyes

"Hmm." He answered intertwining their hands

"Tell me a poem, it's been awhile."

Dom thought for a second before speaking. "I think of you in the morning before the sun rises, when in the still of the darkness my heart feels your presence. Your love, your tenderness, your slow rhythmic breathing as you sleep, and I am at peace." He paused licking over his lips

"I think of you when the first rays of sunlight spill like a waterfall between the blinds and settle in my eyes.
I reach my hand, my foot, any body part will do, to touch you and breathe you in. It feeds my heart, my soul, my spirit, and I am at peace."

"I think of you at noon when the sun is at its highest, when the heat warms my skin and causes my eyes to close with sheer pleasure. Thoughts of you surround me, envelop me, overpower me. Images of you swirl around like a funnel cloud, sucking into its grasp all that it touches, and I am at peace."

"I think of you when the sun is setting
and its final rays of light begin to fade.
I can hear your voice, deep, soft, and slow in my head-- words of beauty, joy, friendship, and everlasting love.
My heart begins to sing a love song so sweet and so gentle. I cannot wait to share my day with you and yours with me. And I am at peace."

"I think of you when the sun has set and the stillness of the moon is displaying one of its many wondrous phases. Thoughts of your smile, your laugh, and your eyes create a feeling that is impossible to express with just words. The need to touch you, to feel you, to drink you in is almost too much to hold inside. Anticipation of you is the greatest gift. I am at peace."

Dom finished and looked down at Kia seeing the tears pool her eyes.

"Kia stop thinking about the negative outcome, think about the positivity. All the shit that's been going on these past couple of months have yet to tear us down. We almost tore apart but we're still here together, standing strong. Building and rebuilding new foundations in our life. If we wasn't in a tight spot we'd be somewhere traveling." He told her kissing her tears away

"Sometimes I feel like I'm not good enough for you. Your so perfect in my eyes and I'm a ball of fire waiting to explode."

"Nobody's perfect love. I'm most definitely far from perfect, my mental makes me so ugly."

"But your so sexy though, like fuck me in the ass sexy." She hiccuped

Dom couldn't help but chuckle. "I want you to fuck me numb, I wanna feel my legs shaking."

"Kia." Dom groaned ignoring her

"Dom."

"Kia." He removed her hand from his lap

"I'm trying to talk to you."

"And I'm trying to fuck on you." Kia responded shrugging

"Anyways like I was saying, Lamonte finna look into a–." Kia nipped at his adams apple throwing off his focus

"You know I like when you tell me poems." She whispered between nibbles

"Kia." He growled placing his hands above her waist

"Why you being bipolar? Sex gon' temporarily take the pain away, I know you're hurting and it's about the case. And you feel bad because you can't tell me." Kia stopped what she was doing and nodded

Her body started to shake making him hug her close. "I don't know how many times I'mma say this but I love you Kia."

"I love you too." She mumbled in his neck
