The voice of Max saying the time of death was ringing in Natalie's head. Max decided to give them a minute to say their final goodbyes. She sat down next to her child and she cried. Charles came in to try and get her to step out for a minute but she didn't want to go anywhere. "I'm not going. I'm staying." She demanded. He didn't want to force her to leave, so he sat down next to her and looked at their dead child.

"Why us? Why him?..... he was just a kid." She cries out loud. He held her close to him, and didn't let her go until Max came in the room to remove Noah's body. "Natalie, Charles we need to move his body." He reached to grab the bed but Charles stopped him. He had a gut feeling that this isn't how it ends for Noah. That he's not dead. "Please, can you just check for a pulse one more time?" He asked in a desperate tone. "Charles, I know this is hard to deal with, but you saw as clearly as I did that Noah's gone." "Please Max?" Natalie asked with tears streaming down her face. " Ok, if that's what you want." He simply replies and checks Noah's pulse.

Suddenly, Max is pulling back, "Well I'll be damned!" He says before he starts calling out for nurses and doctors. "What, what is it?" Charles asks. "I've got a pulse and I NEED NURSES AND DOCTORS NOW!" He says louder since no one came the first time he called out. Charles sighed with relief and his heart jumped at the thought of his son still alive. He knew it, he felt it in his gut. Soon, the room was full with nurses and doctors and Natalie and Charles were being asked to leave the room. Natalie and Charles of course, refused to leave so they stayed.

"How is he Max?" Natalie asks. And as if on cue, Noah slowly opens his eyes and cries for his parent. "Mommy." Both Natalie and Charles rush to their son.

"Hey, sweetheart. Mommy and daddy are right here." Natalie says as she runs her hands through her son's curly hair. "I'm okay." He says with a quiet voice. "I'm thirsty mommy." She smiles and kisses his forehead. "Ok, daddy will go get you some." Charles kisses Noah's head before leaving. Natalie sits next to Noah while Max fills out some paperwork.

"Natalie, a word?" Max asks. They leave and step outside of his room. Max shows Natalie the paperwork. "This is what I found when "Noah's heart stopped." He says, pointing to certain information on the paper. "There was Foxglove in his system? How is that possible?"
"Are there any gardens by you and Charles's house by any chance?" She knew she didn't have any gardens near her house but Charles's house, she had no clue. " I honestly don't know, I haven't seen any or thought to ask about one." "Ok well, if you do, just know that that's most likely where Noah got the plant from you." She nodded her head. "Ok, I'll talk to Charles."

As Max left to attend to other patients, Natalie went back in the room to see how her son was doing. "Hey little guy, how you feeling?" She asks while sitting down next to him.
"Fine, just thirsty." She nods.
"Yea daddy should be back soon ok?" He nods and she kisses his forehead.

"I love you kiddo. More than anything in this world."
