It's been a couple of days since I been out of Charles's house and as I was unpacking my stuff I heard a knock on the front door. As I was walking up to answer it, I hoped it would be Noah getting dropped off but no, it's Christ. "Hey." He said. "Hey. What are you doing here?" I asked him. "Can I come in?" I nod before opening the door wider and letting him in.

"So why are you here?" I asked him again. "I just wanted to see you." "I just saw you the day of my surgery so why are you here?" He puts his hand on the back of his jeans and I know what that means. "What?" I asked him again. "How are you feeling?" I look at him like he's crazy when I feel where his hands are going. I rip his hands off.
"Try that again and I'll personally break your hand." He seems a little off. "Christian Ying Mason. What do you want?" "It's been awhile since you called me by my first name." I sigh. "Either you tell me what you want or you leave!" "I just really hope that you can forgive me......" "Christ, what happened between us was in the past, I'm over it."
"No, but there's more...." He says before going silent.

"Ok then so speak!" "I never told you the real reason why I left you that day. But now I have nothing to hide anymore." He was about to tell me why he did what he did. "Okay I'm all ears." "Okay first..... I really wanted to come...... but I couldn't." I didn't feel sorry for him, all I felt was anger. "A month before the wedding I got this letter from your father and brother. Leroy and Williams." "What do they have to do with anything?" He sighs. "In this letter, your brother and father wanted to meet with me, so I went. Little did I know they were trying to get rid of me." What did he just say? "What?" "Will and Leroy gave me one million dollars to leave you...... but I said no." But why? "Why did you leave then?" He looks up to my face and his face is red. "I left because I didn't feel like you deserved a man like me, when we were dating there was this girl, my ex, she and I had broken up but then a couple of days before our wedding, she texted me telling me that she was pregnant. So I couldn't face you." "You should've just taken the money......" I said.

"I did." I felt this sharp pain in my chest. "I couldn't just leave her or my baby." We were both tearing up at this point. "No you couldn't. You did the right thing." I whipped my tears and got up. "Listen to me Natalie I still love you." I turned back to face him. "If you loved me you would've told me. I could've helped you." I was mad at him, my father and my brother. We were both quite now. "Leave." I said. He nods before walking out the door.

Later on that day, Noah came and I played him until he was picked up by Charles girlfriend. Right now I didn't feel like yelling at Charles or her, so I just let it go. He was already asleep so she just took him and left. I called Josie earlier and she came by and brought wine. "So all that happened?" I sighed. "Yeah, I mean why can't I just be happy for one second. Now I hate my father and brother." I said crying. Later my words were starting to slur from all the wine so she brought me to bed.

The next day I didn't feel good. I was throwing up and I felt so bad so I decided to take a pregnancy test. It came back negative and I was happy there would be no more kids at the moment.
