The next morning, Charles wakes up on the bench inside Natalie's room and looks at Natalie. To his surprise, she was already looking at him. He had planned to talk to Natalie first thing in the morning. He needed to make sure that she was the Natalie he fell in love with. "Hey...... Charles right?" She asks. Charles sits next to her on the bed. "Yeah, it's Charles. So umm....can I ask...Do you remember anything about me? About us at all?" She sighs. "Look, I'm sorry that you have all these memories of me and I have none of you. If I could remember these relationships, you guys are saying that I have with people, I would but I truly don't. I'm sorry." "I know, I know, but what if I give you dates? Maybe you could try going off that?" "Yea I guess. It doesn't hurt to try." "Ok. What do you remember of June 9, 2016? Do you remember the bar where we talked?" Natalie closes her eyes and thinks really hard.

"Oh my god! Yes I remember. I remember us talking and then you kissing me. I remember me kissing you back and then... and then after that it's kind of a blur." Charles felt relief at the fact that she remembered him, even if it was only a little bit. "That's ok. I'm just glad you remembered something besides the fact that Christ left you." She chuckles dryly and turns to the window. "Yea, I definitely remember that. I remember having Noah and now I have the small memory or meeting you but that's it. It's like my head is empty of any current memories with anybody." Charles nodded in understanding and stood up. He felt like he needed some air now. "It's ok Natalie, I just hope you remember soon." He squeezed her hand really quick before leaving the room.

"Yea, me too..." Natalie said quietly in her now empty room.
