70TH ANNIVERSARY OF UN BILL FG-113
May 19, 2020

Today marks the 70th anniversary of Bill FG-113, or as its more commonly known, the Funeral Ghoul bill. After the allies support from ghoul units in the second world war, The UN was faced with demands on all sides to provide a new, safe way for ghouls to eat, so that they could remain functioning members of society.

In 1947, Bill FG-113 was introduced by French ambassador Pierre Lecoup, and was at first heavily fought against. But after three years of debates and planning, it was passed and enacted on May 19, 1950. It is thanks to this that we now have the Funeral Ghoul system in place. Now upon the age of 18, everyone can choose whether or not to sign the form to donate their bodies to the system, so that ghouls can eat without murdering people off the streets or grave robbing.

Thanks to this bill, levels of ghoul related crimes have been at a literal all time low in every location where it has been enacted. Since its enactment there has been a global decrease in ghouliphobia and ghoul related hate crimes from both humans and ghouls. It of course still exists, but far from the fear mongering extent it was. The only country to not see these effects is North Korea as it is the only country that has still yet to implement the bill.

To celebrate today's anniversary, humans and ghouls all over the world will be gathering at local mausoleums to give thanks to the dearly departed.
