Gia: Bitch I was waiting for summer to hit so I could come out here and act a fool.
Kelani: I bet, crazy ass.
**Gia was in Cali visiting. We were on our way to my house from the airport. I had finished one semester of school. David had completed his junior year with a 3.7 GPA. He was doing so good, definitely proving his doubters wrong. August's music was POPPIN' though I stayed behind the scenes most of the time Aug was becoming a big star. The name August Alsina was everywhere....but he was also spending less and less time at home. Although so many things are going so good, things have been a little rocky between Aug and I. I pulled into my driveway and helped Gia bring her stuff inside and upstairs to one of the guest rooms**
Gia: Girl!! It is TIGHT up in here. I love it!!
Kelani: Thanks girl. Come on, we can go downstairs or out by the pool.
Gia: Girl fuck that, let's get in the pool.
Kelani: Matter of fact, yeah let's do that. You wanna blow?
Gia: Girl...
**I watched as Gia took off Her wig ... This bitch had 3 fairly big bags of weed in her wig!!**
Kelani: G...
Gia: Whaattt?
Kelani: I should've fuckin known it was something. You had that wig on, Lord have mercy. Hurry up and change.
**I went in my room and changed into a multi-colored snake skin printed string bikini. I grabbed my sunglasses, white slides, a couple packs of woods, and a bag of weed out of me and August's smoke drawer. I put my slides on and left out my room**
David: Aye sis?
Kelani: Yeah
David: Can Chanel come over here ?
Kelani: Yeah
**Gia came downstairs in a yellow bikini that's looked fire on her lightskin. I grabbed my Bluetooth speaker and we went to the back. I hooked up to the speaker and played Good Form by Nicki Minaj. I sat with my feet in the water while Gia and I each rolled up a wood. I texted Cali to see what she was doing. Gia and I lit our blunts.**
Gia: Alright my friend Cali coming over in a little bit. We gone have to smoke at least twice before she get here cuz she got her son with her and I don't wanna smoke on front of him.
Gia: Alright.
**Gia and I smoked twice before Cali got there with Chase, her son. He was 10 months now and sooo handsome. Plus he loved him some me..**
Kelani: Hey my man man!!
**Chase's face lit up as he laughed and reached for me.**
Kelani: Hey honeyyyy.
Cali: Hey, I see that hear holding up. It's been what 2 weeks?
Kelani: Yeah and the bond you used this time is better than the last one. I been out here in the pool and my lace ain't lifted at all.
Cali: Okay good so we gone keep using that one.
Kelani: Cal this is my bestfriend His, she's visiting for the summer.
Gia: Hey, nice to meet you Cali. I've heard alot about you.
Cali: I've heard alot about you too! Nice to finally meet you baby
August POV
August: I don't know why you love watching the same movies over and over again. Everytime I come over here we watching this.
Lauren: You lying. You just don't wanna watch it.
August: We done watched this before
Lauren: But not everytime you come over.
**Lauren laughed and I smiled. Her and I been hanging tough lately, especially because things between me and Kelani were crazy. She hasn't been real supportive lately. It's like my career and music wasn't important to her at all. I'm not trynna compare Lauren to my girl but, she stays coming to the studio with me, sitting with me while I write, gives me constructive criticism and all that. I liked it. I enjoyed seeing her be so excited to just come sit and watch me record, just little shit.**
August: You coming to the studio tonight ?
Lauren: If you want me to I definitely will.
August: It might be a long night. I'm recording Benediction tonight.
Lauren: And you know that's one of my favorites.
August: let you tell it they all your favorite.
Lauren: Bingo
**She smiled and laughed. Lauren was really a sweetheart man.. and it was so natural for her to be so sweet and nice. I smiled at her**
Lauren: Is the gang gonna be there or just us?
*I laughed at her*
Lauren: Whaaatttt??
August: *mocking her* Is the gang gonna be there? *Laughing* Why you say gang? And why you say it like THAT?
**She did a fake pout and crossed her arms**
Lauren: You're a bully forreal, see this the perfect example...you always ask why I call you a bully all the time. This why.
**I laughed harder. **
August: Aww poor baby.
**I grabbed her and hugged her while she was still trynna fake mad.**
Gia POV
**Me, Lani, and Cali were in the pool talking about everything under the sun. Cali's son was taking a nap so we had a blunt in rotation.**
Kelani: That nigga hasn't called all day.
Gia: Where he at?
Kelani: At the studio. I texted him earlier and he ain't text back, I'm not bouta blow him up and text him back to back. Fuck that. Cuz it's been like this for a good month and a half. I'm bout ready to make his bitch ass sleep in another room.
Gia: Calm down girl. Y'all need to fuckin talk. Sound like it's a hell of a lack of communication. That shit can make anything go south quick, whether be a relationship with you man, a friendship, and even in family situations.
Cali: That's true. You can always come talk to us ofcourse but at some point August needs to know what you're feeling and vice versa.
*I nodded my head*
Kelani: I'll talk to him when he gets home, who know when that is. That nigga basically live at that fuckin studio.
Gia: He's a new and popular artist. He gotta keep the fans satisfied. Why don't you just go to the studio and take him some food, maybe sit in and watch him work. Have you ever been ?
Kelani: I been quite a few times, I guess I'll try that. And that conversation Definitely need to happen.
