Ever since you were young you loved being in front of the camera. Posing in family and friends birthday photos. Not shy to go up on stage at a wedding, to get a photo with the bride and groom with hundreds of eyes watching you.

When you got to year 11 and needed to choose what you wanted to study in college, you knew right away, unlike everyone else who were very nervous and had no clue.

You wanted to attend a modelling school.

One day, you went home from school. After your teacher told the class "tomorrow you must all have an idea of what you want to do and where you are going as we will begin to fill in applications."

Your mum was sitting on the couch with a glass of red wine on the table and looking through papers. She looked stressed.

"Hi Mum is everything okay?" You asked worriedly, as you sat beside her.

"I'm fine darling, just have things to sort out."

It was just you and Mum living together. Your Dad left when you were 2 years old with the blondie he cheated on your mum with.

Then you saw a letter and picked it up off the table. It was from the school your Mum works at, as a teacher.

You saw the words written in bold

Redundant

"What does this mean Mum?" You had a feeling it wasn't something good.

You noticed your Mother hold her breath and then deeply release a sigh. Her head hagging low "My... work place... They got rid of some staff and... and I was one of them." Your mother says running her fingers through her hair.

"B-But why?" You asked worriedly

"Because they JUST can! Now go up to your room and change out of your school clothes Y/N your swimming lesson is in 30 minutes!"

"No Mum! What does this mean? What about my modelling school?" You get up off the sofa your hand begins to shake slightly.

Your Mother sighs deeply again and this time looks at you.

"Im sorry baby. I wont be able to afford it. And with how the economy is right now, it'll be hard for me to find a good paying job really quickly. Every place just wants experience."

"M-Mum... noooo.. that was my.. my only dream. H-How... What do I do now?" Tears rolled down your cheeks.

Your mother stood up to hug you, her own eyes teary, but you pushed her away gently.

You felt suffocated. "I.. I need some air. I need some alone time." You tell and run out your house crying.

You continue to run and run until you come to a stop under a tree in a park. The sky is getting orange as the sun is setting.

You continue to sob in your hands.

You hear a noise but you dismiss it. Maybe its just a bird.

A few seconds later again

You have your hands covering your face so as you lift your head up and look through a gap between your fingers, you see a guy holding a camera with a mustard yellow cap on, a white jumper with a black short sleeved tshirt over it.

He seemed to have been taking photos of you.

You wipe your tears hurridly and stop crying. You stand up to your feet.

The guy is looking at the screen of his camera and flicking through the pictures he just took.

"H-Hey you there!"
