The males at your side looked static to be outside, be able to fully enjoy freedom. It has been over four years since you all had the opportunity to socialize, and to enjoy what places had to offer.
Alan and the other two chatted as they looked around, even when there were just a few people outside. Shaking your head, you lead them to no place in particular. You had no idea where you were going, but such a big kingdom had to have several bars around here. Maybe you'll end up finding one.
When you faced two drunk men on the side of the road, that's when you realized that you were not too far from a bar. That was definitely a clue, and then as you continued, more people surrounded the area.
Eventually you stopped at a place, it read Seven Heaven, and there was a lot of chatter, and even faint singing coming from the inside of the place.
"Just remember, try not to get into trouble it to get really drunk." Before you entered, you stopped the trio to warn them.
They nodded, but it was Alan who asked the question. "What if they start a fight?"
That was the last thing you wanted, and if they did find themselves in that situation, with alcohol in their systems, you doubted that the would try to end the fight with minimum damage. "Then I'll handle it."
With that you four entered, only to be hit by a wave of alcohol. It was warm inside, and oddly enough, cozy. The atmosphere didn't feel bad, it felt rather friendly. There were around ten tables, and then the bar. Behind the bar there was a young woman attending the clients. Of course there were other young girls who were providing the rest of the clients their drinks.
Most of the tables were filled with men, the majority were soldiers. Your eyes searched around the bar looking for a table for the four of you. However, there was only a table with three empty chairs.
Letting out a long sigh, you motioned for them to head to that table. They seemed hesitant at first but they did as told. You watched as they sat down, and immediately a young woman approached them to receive their orders.
You had no other choices head to the bar, where it was busy but you managed to find an empty spot. It was a good spot, this way you would be able to see the other three just in case you needed to take action.
"What will it be?" A feminine voice asked.
When you turned around in your seat to look at her, closer you were able to see her more clearly. She was very pretty, long dark brown hair which if you had not been this close, you would have confused it with black hair. Red or brown eyes? You were not entirely sure. "What would you recommend?"
You hadn't paid close attention, if you had, you would have seen the pair of males. That spiky black hair, you could have recognized it anywhere. As if to confirm, the blond man at his side was none other than Cloud. Both of them were no longer the young boys you knew from back then, they were now very well-developed men.
You must have spaced out because the woman spoke again, but you didn't hear her question. "Yeah, I'll have that."
And she turned around confirming that she had in fact asked you whether you wanted that drink. In a minute she had the drink in front of you. Not wanting the other makes to catch you staring, you grabbed the drink and turned around and just watched your group. They were enjoying their first drink, and they even had food in front of them. The smile on their faces showed how happy they were.
Taking a sip of your own drink, you couldn't help but sport a smile of your own. It was definitely worth seeing their smiles. "Oh."
From the corner of your eye, someone was standing to your right. There he was, Zack Fair. He seemed surprised to see you here and for a good reason. If you were right, Zack and Cloud had been the ones who had invited you here and...Well, they never showed up.
