A throne room, that's where the male took you. There he was, the man responsible for all the deaths, the war. You waited to see an old man, but what you saw was definitely not old. Those orange eyes pierced through you, he his long silver hair shifed as he turned completely to look at you. " Zexion, What is the meaning of this?" He was very young, quite good looking too.
As he asked, you shifted your gaze to the other person who he has previously been talking to. From the hunched form, it looked like it was an old woman. You couldn't see her face because she covered it with a long hood.
"Perhaps if you approach her, you will find out." Xemnas married his gaze but decided to do so, he confidently approached you. However, he didn't get to approach that far. Instantly his hand flew to his chest and he even staggered back. His gaze widened, and it almost looked that horror flashed across his eyes. "It's...It's you." Once far from you, he once again his confidence returned. "I do believe you said the other woman was the person we were looking for."
At first you weren't sure who he was talking to, until the woman answered. "I said I wasn't entire sure but you quickly jumped to conclusions and decided to take her. If you had waited just a little longer, I would have found her."
The more she spoke, the more she tried to hide herself. As if you knew her and she was afraid that you would recognize her."Where is she? Release her, that was my condition."
The one called Zexion grabbed you by the arm without Xemans' order. None of them showed any sort of respect towards Xemnas as if he wasn't a King at all. "Take her, and get rid of the other woman."
Fighting would do you no good, so you complied as you were taken to where you would be kept. The Castle was devoid of decorations, and the walls, and doors were painted white. There were many halls, and many doors, all looked the same. It was starting to give you headache. Finally you arrived to a door, and surprisingly when he twisted the door handle it wasn't locked. He opened it and motioned for you to enter.
The room was empty except for a bed, a bed which was occupied by none other than Aerith. The woman was seating on it, with her back against the wall and she was sobbing. "Aerith?" Hearing the new voice woke her from her depressed emotions. When her teary eyes landed on you, her eyes widened and she instantly jumped to the ground and there's her body to your arms.
"[Name]!" If she was sobbing, now her body was shaking as she cried even more. Her arms were around your neck and...You hesitantly patted her back at first, but Zaxion grabbed her arm and pulled her away. Horror filled her gaze as she was pulled away from you, she tried to cling to you but you allowed the man to pull her away. [Name]?"
For a moment she stopped crying and maybe she thought that you were working for them. "You promised her safety, take her home."
"What's happening...I don't understand." Poorly, Aerith tried to free herself from Zexion clutches. But she was so softly with that too.
Shaking your head you walked inside the room, "don't worry about it. He'll take you back home, you're safe now."
"I cannot take her home, they'll be waiting for me there. However, I can take care as close to it as possible." The man added, at least he allowed the two of you to talk instead of just ripping her and imprisoning you.
He didn't even step out of the room, he summoned the portal and before he left, he analyzed you for a moment. A smile twitched on his lips as he dragged a screaming Aerith with him into the portal. You were left inside the room, but he left the door unlocked, the door opened for you. Maybe it was a trap, trying to see what you would do. Or their security was just so good that they weren't afraid that you walked out of the room and tried to flee.
With some curiosity, you walked out of the room. The hall had two destinations, one to the left and the one you came from. You too the left one to see where it would take you, and you were met with yet more hallways and more doors. There were no guards or even servants, but the longer you wxpolored the castle, the more you realized why they were not afraid to leave the door open. No matter where you went, you only found more halls and more doors.
"So you're our new guest," one of the castle inhabitants interrupted your exploring. You frowned as you turned around, long pink hair...You were not the only one who recognized him, he seemed to also recognize you too. A wide smile reached his lips. He walked closer, and just like the others he felt it. That smile stopped for just a second, his gaze shifted to the hand that rested on his chest. "It was you all along...Had I approached back then..."
"What exactly are you all waiting for?" He seemed a lot more friendly, but despite that friendly facade there was deception. All you had was to try and get as much as information as you could that way you would know how much time you had to find a way out.
He lowered his hand and unlike the ones you've met so far, he didn't walk back. No, he walked closer and closer. When he stopped it was because he was as close as he could, his chest touched yours. You tried to stand back but he placed his arm around your waist pulling you closer to him. Having this body this close, you felt his heart beat. The rhythm wasn't calm, it beat bast. The man's hand raised and stopped when he lifted your chin.
Had it been another scenario and with someone else, you would be embarrassed and blushing. Hit not with him, not even if he was handsome and charming. His eyes twinkled as he inspected your face, his thumb massaging the corner of your mouth trying to smooth the frown. "You're so pretty, a unique flower indeed."
Having enough, you pushed against his chest and finally managed to free yourself from his grasp. "Well? Can't at least know the date of my death?"
Instead for the answer you were waiting for, you received a laugh. "Aren't you quite clever," you wanted to know when so that you could speed up whatever plan you had. "You may try to find the exit but you will find none. I'm sure if you ask your friend she can attest to that."
It was quite impressive, he expected you to act a lot harsher or maybe show some sort of fear. But you showed none of that, you remained calm. You radiated from confidence and an unknown power he could not describe. With all you've been through and all you managed to accomplished, no wonder. Despite the baggy clothes, the short and uneven hair cut...There was a sense of beauty to you.
Laughing one more he gave you his back, once more he clutched his chest and he felt the heart beat he had been missing for years. All of his emotions flooded him, all were mixed and yet...He welcomed the feeling.
Perhaps it was the new wave of feelings, but as he thought about when you would be sacrificed to give them their hearts...He almost, almost felt guilty.
