"Can I speak with you [Name]?" Tidus asked the next day, you were just making the last preparations before you departed.
Luneth sent you a curious glance as he walked towards the King And Princess Yuna. "Sure, what is it?"
He looked embarrassed, his gaze wouldn't meet yours. "I wanted to apologize for how I reacted the other day, I acted out of line."
Last night had been fun, for a few hours you were able to talk to him and the other two. You were able to know them a little better, and during that conversation you understood why he had acted so angry. Tidus and Princess Yuna were childhood friends, and as he grew up he then became her personal guard. Although you didn't approve of his actions, you could understand why he acted like that.
"Everything is clear now, there is no need for us to swell on it." Stretching your arm forward, you smiled.
He glanced at your hand and then a wide smile reached his lips, a small red blush on his cheeks. "Alright then!" His expression softened as he shook your hand. "Until we meet again."
"Until we meet again." Sending him a last smile, you walked towards Auron and Cid. "Well, I suppose this is a goodbye."
Cid refrained from reaching out and throwing his arm around you, for obvious reasons. So he settled by slapping you on your shoulder, "Just don't die in us so soon alright?"
"Have a safe trip, [Name]." Shaking his head, Auron added.
Having your goodbyes being said, you mounted your horse, while Luneth disappeared inside a carriage. Some people had to walk while others used the carriages and horses to travel. Though during the journey you would have to switch places. The day they had to rest wasn't enough for a good rest, but you couldn't spare any more days as much as you wanted.
Giving the order to move, you continued the journey to the next Kingdom, Kingdom Ballad. It would be an equally exhausting journey, and most of these people would definitely complain at some point, and you couldn't blame them if they did. But if that happened, you'll have to do something about it. But you could plan that during the journey.
With the carriages and horses, the journey wasn't as harsh as the first one and it didn't take as long either. In fact, you arrived there two in seventeen days. Even so, the people were tired, grumpy and hungry as expected.
Unlike Princess Yuna and the King, King Caius didn't welcome you, but he did send a group of servants, and even civilians with food, water, clothing and even shoes. As soon as you arrived, they set to work and offered delicious food to the men, and once everyone ate, they were taken to where they would be taken care of.
You had to admit that this place looked a lot bigger than the previous Kingdoms, and it was highly protected too. There was not a spec of dirt or trash anywhere, no homeless people around begging for money. This could only mean that this Kingdom was so prosperous that everyone was guarantee a job, or that there were places for those in need.
At first glance, you were more than surprised. You just hoped that King Caius wasn't so ruthless that he would go as far as to get rid of the homeless and even orphans.
"Prince Luneth, and [Name]." People began to bow as King Caius approach with his personal guards. Or at least that's the vibe they give off.
You hadn't seen them before, all three of them looked very young. The first one has black hair, almost at the same length as yours, his eyes, although he isn't close enough, seem to be gray.
The second one, has aquamarine eyes and long, silver hair, and unlike the previous one, he does wear armor.
Last but not least, the man clad in armor. Because he wears a helmet, you can't quite see his face, although there was blond hair peaking from under the helmet.
