We Will Go Down In History (Remus X OC)

Chapter 2

We arrived the four of us in the great hall, after Dumbledore had given his speech and nearly everyone had already started to eat.

James immediate reaction was to look around for Lily. "If any of you see Evans give me a shout, alright," he said while running his fingers through his hair and adjusting his glasses on his nose.

Not any later than 10 seconds did Siruis called out to James "Oi mate," he motionned for James to come by his side, "Isn't that Evans over there at the slytherin table?"

James squinted his eyes as to get a better look, "Yeah it is," he confirmed "what the hell is she doing at the slytherin table, don't tell me she's talking to snveillus,"

"No," Peter butted in the conversation "She's not, she's talking a blond girl,"

"Woah she's kinda hot," smirked Siruis, "Oi Moony what do you think,"

I turned my eyes to finally look at who Siruis was making such a fuss about, he gestured over to the slytherin's table and surely enough standing in front of Lily was a beautiful blonde girl.

She had pale skin and dark blue eyes, she was smiling widely at Lily.

"I think Moony aproves,"  mocked James, but I was lost in my tracks staring at this girl, as I realized that I had never seen her before.

"I think we've lost Moony," James continued to mock,

"Let him be," replied Siruis, "maybe he's finally found a wolf for his pack,"

"that's not funny," I interrupted, but Siruis just shrugged his shoulders,

"Evans is walking back," James noted and he once again adjusted his hair making it purposely messy. "Good evening Evans,"

Lilly rolled her eyes back at James greeting, "What do you want Potter?"

"Just to say hello and see how you're doing on this fine evening,"

I decided to interrupt James attempt to flirt "who was that girl you were talking to at that slytherin table,"

"her names is Viel Désir,"

"she your new slytherin friend?" Siruis asked

"I simply introduced myself because she's-" I had cut Lily off to finish her sentence "she's new,"

"yes," she confirmed, "how did you know,"

"because he finds her pretty," Siruis mocked once again, "don't you Moony?"

Lily glared at Siruis "just ignore them Remus," she stated, "besides, she has a really interesting story, she transferred from beauxbatons-"

"she's french," Siruis asked frantically, "I'm not going to be able to seduce her with my crappy French,"

"maybe," I suggested, "if you tried just talking to her you'd have a better chance,"

"wouldn't that make you jealous Moony," James had pointed out highfiving Siruis afterwards,

"anyway," Lily sighed, "as I was saying she transferred from beauxbatons and was sorted into slytherin today, though I don't think the other slytherins like her very much. Something about her being a fake slytherin because she was previously in papillonlisse,"

"in what now?" James asked

"it's kind of like the equivalent of ravenclaw here," Lily rolled her eyes.

Peter had managed to mutter the question "how can she be sorted in to different houses,"

"Well," Lily had finally sat down with us, "its because beauxbatons sorts you into the house of which you possess the qualities, while as Hogwarts sorts you in the house with the qualities that you value,"

"so," Siruis started, "if I understand correctly she's smart but values the qualities such as cunning, ambition and being a jackass?"

"I swear," Lily was starting to arrive at the point were she could no longer stand their stupidity, "that's not all there is to those houses, but you wouldn't care to know would you Black?" she turned to face me, "Remus would you like to join me in visiting the library?"

"of course," I answered
"the I will see you there," and with that she stood up from the table once again and left.

Siruis hadn't really paid attention and Peter was to busy eating his dinner, James on the other clearly would have preferred she stay longer.
