"So you're getting private lessons now?" Siruis asked while shoving half a piece of toast in his mouth,
"no, gosh," I sighed exasperated, "she just gave me some advice,"
"So you on first names bases with your girlfriend or what,"
I rolled my eyes at James question, "we're on no name basis at all,"
"not even surname, damn hard," Siruis nugged James, talking more to him than at me,
"You can honestly be so ridiculous," I retorted, "she's new, I'm being nice, there's no reason for you two to get any ideas,"
"Sure," Siruis rolled his eyes, "other than the fact that you stare at her when we're in class and you keep desperately trying to talk to her, there's no reason whatsoever, "
I had had enough of my friends speculations, so I picked up my things and left the breakfast table.
Besides, it wasn't uncommon for them to tease me, I did the same sometimes, but for some reason I was getting rather irritated at these particular ones.
I didn't have anywhere to be, considering it was a Sunday. I had already done my homework and I wasn't in the mood to hang out with the other mauraders.
So I walked myself outside of the castle to sit alone by the lake. I often enjoyed relaxing here whether it was alone or with friends. It was peaceful and the sound of the water was pleasant.
Sometimes if I was lucky, the water was clear enough to see the fish swim back and forth in the current.
As the leaves on the trees rustled with the wind, I sat quietly underneath the branches in the shade.
I pulled out a book I was currently reading and opened it where I left my book marker.
I often changed my book markers, considering how many I had. This time it was an old photo lily had taken and given to me as a gift.
A field of sunflowers with the sunset hiding in the petals in the background. It was a beautiful picture, with grey clouds mirroring the orange and yellow colors of the sun.
On the back of the photo was written, "The mornings that you miss, Love Lily,"
This was a hidden message for the morning after a full moon, when she had found out the truth, this was the gift she gave me. It was her way of telling me she accepted me for who I was.
Since then she's often me a couple dozen more of photos just like this one, and I cherish each and every one of them.
