Alaric arrives at the Salvatore boarding house, "About time," I say sitting down as Alaric walks in.

"Well, nice to see you too Blair," He smiles.

"Thanks for coming, Ric. Can I get you something to drink? Coffee, bourbon? Bourbon in your coffee?" Damon asks.

"Elena mentioned you needed my help," Alaric stood awkwardly.

"Yeah, we were hoping you could help shed some light on the Lockwood family," Stefan asks crossing his arms.

"Now, why would I know anything about the Lockwood's?" Alaric asks.

"Well, you wouldn't. But your dead, not-dead vampire wife might," Damon shrugs.

"Isobel's research from when you guys were at Duke together," Elena reminds him.

"You said that she had spent years researching this town," Stefan adds. I see Elena and Stefan are closer again and honestly I felt uncomfortable about it.

"Isobel's research here in Mystic Falls rooted in folklores and legends but at the time I thought much of which was fiction," Alaric reminds them.

"Like that amazing vampire story," Damon jokes.

"Aside from vampires, what else?" Elena asks.

Alaric thought about it for a minute, "Divination," He shrugs and looks at me. I look at him questionably.

"Ah, no," Stefan interrupts quickly before I could ask any questions.

"The lycanthrope," Alaric adds.

"Werewolves... I knew it," I screamed.

"Wait," Elena says confused.

"No way, impossible, way too Lon Chaney," Damon jokes again.

"Is it?" Stefan questions.

"I've been on this planet one hundred and sixty some odd years, never came across one. If werewolves exist, where the hell are they?" Damon asks.

"I read about werewolves. Why would they want anything to do with vampires. If I could would hide too," I laugh.

"Why do you suspect the Lockwoods?" Alaric questions.

"Because vervain didn't affect the mayor at Founders' Day but the Gilbert device did and it affected his son Tyler," Damon explains.

"And at the school carnival his uncle Mason exhibited inhuman behavior when he fought with one of the carnival's workers," Stefan adds. "It suggests it's some sort of a supernatural entity."

"We were hoping that Isobel's research could help us figure it out what it is," Elena simply tells Alaric.

"If we find out Damon can feel less threatened," I joke.

"Shut up Blair," Damon says not amused.

"Well, all her things are still at Duke. I mean her office is still there. She's technically still missing," Alaric shrugs.

"So can we get access to it?" Damon ask.

"Are you stupid Damon? Why would he tell us if we couldn't?" I bother him.

"You are getting on my nerves Blair Bear," He rolls his eyes. "Ric, we need to know what we are dealing with. If this wolfman thing is true, I've seen enough movies to know it's not good."

"I have read enough to know that everything we are about to do is very stupid."

"Nobody asked you Blair," Damon smirks. "It means Mason Lockwood is a real-life Lon Chaney and that little Tyler punk may just very well be Lon Chaney junior, which means Bella Lugosi, meaning me, is totally screwed.
