"Hey!" I say to the guy sitting by the tree.

"Hey." He smiles at me putting his paper down.

"I always sit here. Not to be rude but...You are kind of messing up my routine," I smile slightly.

He nods and gets up and brushes my hand but pulls away quickly. I look at him oddly and sit by the tree and sit my bag down to do work, "Sorry about that. How old are you?"

"Old enough to work a taser and mace now can you like go?"

"I just wanted to know..." He chuckles awkwardly.

"I'm 13."

"Oh," He goes in his pocket and pulls out candy. "Want a peppermint?"

"Can you not be the typical kidnapper? Candy from strangers? Especially peppermints are you trying to kill me?"

"What do you mean? I'm just being friendly."

"A 30 year old being friendly with a 13 year old?"

"How you know i'm 30?"

"A weird talent I have."

"How about I leave and you just take the peppermint."

"Sorry i'm allergic."

Salvatore Boarding House...

I stretch feeling way better than I felt going to bed. Something just wasn't right. I mean as I got up I still felt light headed and winded but I could survive. I don't know what was coming over me. Maybe it was my anxiety about Mason being killed. I knew it was coming yet I was freaking out about it. It will always bother me that his last words were to me. It wasn't even something I wanted to think about. Who is this person he claims is coming to get me?

I walked downstairs to see Caroline is sitting on the couch. Damon gives her a glass of blood, "Here," Damon says.

"I'm still shaking," She says kind of out of breath. She drinks the blood.

"What's going on?" I say as I hit the last step and walked to sit next to Caroline who was absolutely frightened.

Stefan arrives, "What happened?" Stefan asks as he burst threw the doors.

"Go ahead, tell them. You're gonna love this," Damon jokes. I roll my eyes and grab Caroline's hands. Which was a big mistake...

Mystic grill...
Caroline looking at Matt; he sees her, "Do you need a table?" Matt asks annoyed by Caroline's presents.

"No, I'm not staying. I just needed to use the little girls' room," Caroline smiles. Then she pretend to use the bathroom even though she didn't really have to go. She's washing her hands when Katherine arrives. She poses as Elena. "Elena?"

"Hey, I saw you with Matt, are you okay?" Katherine frowns. Sometimes Katherine plays this Elena act too good.

"Yeah, you know...whatever," Caroline tries to superspeed passed Katherine, but Katherine grabs her and pulls her back.

"You're good. What gave me away? Was it the hair? Or was it my clothes?"

"I know Elena is...I know Elena's at home."
